I was admitted to the er after a light car accident after i had low sugar since im diabetic. I walked into the ambulance i was completely fine. After being admitted to the hospital for no reason as i walked in basically they refused to give me my insulin and refused me to leave. After spending the night there the next morning i was also refused my insulin. After seeing the so called specialist he spent 2 min with me max i got to leave and i assumed my medical aid payed for everything. Then 2 weeks later i get an sms owing 2000 rand.After the medical aid had already payed them in full.
Worst kind of scammers and they are in health sector. First, they tried to double-charged me. After many emails which I warn them, they accept and apologized for the double-charged issue. But after I paid the amount, I still receive numerous calls from your company daily at least 2 times in good days. It is fraud and harassment. Next time, I will not agree any payment through this company or any doctors who work with them.
If i can give a 0 i would. My son was in for an emergency due to a high fever. The dr maybe saw us for 5 min max. Just to give us a massive bill at the end of the day since they are not contracted in to medical aid and do not disclose this when you fill you file. They also proceed to mark you account as long over due 3 days later. Pathetic service.
I wonder why ER Consulting Dr Holt and Co do not read their reviews... ahh I know because everyone is a complaint - and nothing changes... I was notified with 'cryptic' WhatsApp messages that I owed money for a visit 11 months ago!!! They did not ONCE send an invoice/statement to say that a whole R364.20 was owing... they are obviously so desperate. They do not have an Accounts Department that is functional - and no staff member is aware of basic accounting practices.. including the Doctors concerned... SHAME on you all at ER Consulting Inc you are a disgrace to the Medical Profession even though the Doctor that attended to me was an absolute angel - YOU do not deserve her..... my suggestion like everyone else's DON'T go anywhere near an ER Consulting Inc facility.
If you need emergency hospital treatment please avoid using the services of ER Consulting Inc trading as Dr's Holt and Partners. One such facility, Lenmed Ahmed Kathrada Hospital, Lenasia uses them. To my utter dismay and frustration I they found most unpleasant and very unprofessional in their conduct. I had to be admitted as an emergency at the casualty section. Unfortunately, my medical aid did not foot the bill. We were intimidated, harassed, bullied and threatened to settle the account. Notwithstanding, we engaged them to settle the account. It all fell on deaf ears, they continued with threats via sms, phone call and email. They never entertained our emails nor bothered to reply or acknowledge them. In all, they smacked of arrogance and no concern for their clients.
My wife was treated so poorly at the nelspruit facility arrived from over 100km away in an ambulance with possible severe head and neck and back trauma. Triaged as orange upon arrival, waited for hours for help because of lack of personnel and beds available. Tried to discharge her that night because of no space in hospital. Admitted the next day after waiting alone in a room for hours without medication, food or water. ABSOLUTE INHUMANE TREATMENT Let alone malpractice.
My mum was admitted to hospital about 2 months back. Some procedures done were charged about medical aid rate and she was liable to pay the difference which is fine. A payment plan was set up with er consulting to pay the outstanding amount over 2 months. The first payment was made on the set date, yet we are still receiving emails about the outstanding amount and mind you these are not reminders. The email say that that if the amount is not settled in the next 20 days legal action will be taken and her name will be blacked listed. When we email them back asking why such an email is been sent. They says you will keep receiving the sms till the payment is settled. How can a person receive an email stating possible black listing if they are keeping to their payment arrangement.
Never in my life had such bad service. Kingsbury Hospital should be ashamed that their brand is associated with such a company. I probably wont ever go back to Kingsbury hospital because they outsource the ER to this company. Can you give zero stars?
Very bad experience dealing with ER Consulting finance department when trying to make payments. This organisation continues to be useless in administering invoices and statements to its clients. These people will hand over a client without sending an invoice or statement.
