One is the mass produced method which will mean that the furniture will almost certainly be imported as they are for the most part manufactured abroad. The other approach, the one that we favour, is the traditional bench made method where the furniture is upholstered using traditional upholstery techniques including hand springing and hand stitching.
This furniture is made by craftsmen in our own workshop in Cape Town. We specialise in high quality bespoke handmade furniture including Headboards, Footstools, Dining chairs, Wing Chairs, Bar Stools, Bed end benches, Ottomans .
Our bespoke furniture is handmade to order so you can choose your exact size and fabric. We are a small business offering a personal service and are always happy to accommodate specific requests to make a truly bespoke service. As well as large made to order items, we also make bespoke soft furnishings ranging from piped window seats, loose covers, curtains and blinds.
We have a beautiful range of fabrics from country prints to wool plaids and a huge selection of plains. We have the full range of fabrics from Voyage, Peony and Sage, Warwick, Abraham Moon, Art of the Loom and many more. Our fabrics range from 100% wool, cotton, linen and velvet fabrics.
We can also lovingly re-upholster antique furniture using traditional or modern techniques.
