Very beautiful place, polite service and grilled cod tasted amazing! Music maybe a bit too loud, but it didn't bother too much.

We had a pleasant experience here back in April. The owner as well as our server were very friendly and the food was great!

I am ashamed and feel sorry for the owners of this place. We showed up in East Paris to have a cup of espresso and a small bit. The bar tender was not friendly and simply ignored us. He realized we wanted to order so he brought us menus but it was clear he was not happy about it. Once we decided on our espresso and tea order my wife went in. After two minute she came out and said we are leaving and broke down crying. The bar tender didn’t speak English, my wife tried to order in English, he was annoyed and waived her off and walked away. The issue with this is not the rudeness of the bar tender, rather the other guests in the bar who laughed at my wife struggling to order in a foreign language. THANK YOU La Factorie Saint Amour, you were disrespectful, rude and I will do all I can to tell everyone I know. I am thankful this place does not embody the spirit of the French people, it’s just simply bad people here. J'ai honte et je suis désolé pour les propriétaires de cet endroit. Nous sommes venus dans l'est de Paris pour prendre une tasse d'espresso et un petit morceau. Le barman n’était pas sympathique et nous a tout simplement ignorés. Il s'est rendu compte que nous voulions commander, alors il nous a apporté des menus, mais il était clair qu'il n'était pas content. Une fois que nous avons décidé de commander notre commande d’espresso et de thé, ma femme est entrée. Après deux minutes, elle est sortie et a dit que nous partions et nous sommes tombées en larmes. Le barman ne parlait pas anglais, ma femme a essayé de commander en anglais, il était énervé et l’a levée et s’est éloigné. Le problème avec ceci n’est pas l’impolitesse du préposé au bar, mais plutôt les autres clients du bar qui se moquaient de ma femme qui avait du mal à commander dans une langue étrangère. MERCI La Factorie Saint Amour, vous avez été irrespectueux, grossier et je ferai tout ce que je peux pour le dire à tous ceux que je connais. Je suis reconnaissant que cet endroit n’incarne pas l’esprit des Français, c’est tout simplement mauvais.

Wonderful restaurant Amazing hospitality and the food is absolutely delicious.

Beautiful and cozy restaurant. The food was well cooked, tasty and delicious, the french wine suggested by the waiter was awesome. The portions have a good size and the price is reasonable. The unique bad thing that bothered me and my wife, was a cat walking through the restaurant counter and on some empties tables. In my point of view animals does not match with restaurants.

Was giving a lecture at a nearby business school, they recommended me the place. Well what a surprise, food is nice & waiters really want to give a pleasant experience. Don't miss the Père Lachaise also, & go for a walk

me and my family went here at lunch time and we had a very good italian coffee so we decided to come back for dinner. the place is awesome, we felt at home. food is delicious and inside there is a very sweet cat which you can pet. waitress are very kind and owner very very sweet,and wine are so good

Very disrespectful experience from the servers!!!! We are visitors from Colombia who decided to know beautiful Paris....when the server brought us the check, along with the check; he brought a tray with a line of sugar or salt replicating a line of cocaine which with a very sarcastic laugh he offered to us. The other servers along with the manager were making fun of us and with their hands they were mimicking rolling something with their hands while looking and laughing at us. We found this behavior not only extremely disrespectful as well as racist! The only reason why I’m giving one star is because otherwise I can not post my comment. Very disappointing service!!!!!!! On top of everything the server brought us a main course that we never ordered!!!

Lovely food, helpful waiting staff, accommodating to our poor French language skills.

I'm reading some of the reviews and laughing. I'm sure this place gets a lot of traffic from Pere Lachaise. It's logical, but realistically, this is not your touristy spot that's going to make you feel like your comfort bubble has expanded. This is a local joint. I stumbled across it myself on my way explore Pere Lachaise. The breakfast was excellent, and well prepared, the coffee was also excellent. The staff was friendly and polite, but frank, and were quick to show me through body language that I was an outsider respectfully. Even if it was not next to Pere Lachaise, it would make no difference to me. I feel blessed I stumbled across it and found it. I go back as often as I am in Paris.
