"What started as a race track in the 1930s, was transformed into the Seabreeze drive-In in the 1960s and eventually developed into a Retirement Village in the early 1990s, is now our beautiful Clé du Cap, which directly translates to Key of the Cape. Clé du Cap was bought by Faircape in 2012. Since then, with numerous upgrades and additions, it has transformed into the luxury lifestyle village it is today."

I had the privilege to conduct a church service at this amazing facility. Reminded the attendees of my last visit fifty three years ago when my girlfriend now my wife of 53 years and I enjoyed a film at the Sea Breeze Drive-inn now this Retirement Community.
I went to see my friend's grandmother and the facilities were good.. Convenience facilities such as swimming pools, restaurants, and table tennis courts were also well managed.
Excellent retired folks complex. Highly secure and beautifully fitted out.
My mother is a resident here and the staff and carers at the Health care center are amazing and so caring. I don't think I could be happier with leaving my mother in there care s I can see the love they have for each resident and the care they give to each.
Cle du cap has been my home for 24 years and I have seen it grow from a Mom and Pop show to a business investment, with significant changes I am truly grateful that I have met good people who have become great friends. From the beginning we had committed residents who were willing to give up time and energy to organise activities in the village, such as the bar,fire drills, library, music circle, social events, outings to shows, church services, ridge etc.And the tradition continued with new residents taking over the various functions. It is very important in our retirement years that we feel wanted and can help others however incapacitated There is tremendous sense of community spirit and good will in the village and it is important that there are opportunities for residents to help each other. This is my home and my family and I am very grateful that I made such good friends and neighbours not forgetting the staff. who also make CDC THE place to live.
The most wonderful place to live. Fabulous Management and staff, great facilities and support and help all the time. I cannot imagine living anywhere else. Thank you Lesley and the team for what you do to make our lives so much easier.
