Really good food for a very good price. Only been here a few times but the food was always good. Fat cakes always fresh and crunchy.
How people still support this business boggles my mind. I went there this morning to order 2 Chicken Mayo Vetkoek. The cashier, who i should give compliments to, informed me that she is going to find out if the Chicken Mayo is ready. Upon returning she informed me that the chicken mayo is not ready yet and suggested I should take something else. The cashier only suggested a few items, assuming that the other menu items were out of stock. I eventually ended up ordering two dagwoods but decided that I was not going to support them and asked for a refund. The cashier informed me that she is not allowed to do refunds and said she is going to phone her manager to inquire about the refund, she eventually did give me back my money. I have a few questions to whomever is going to respond to this complaint/review. 1. Why are there so many items out of stock? Surely you forecast how much stock will be needed until your next delivery is received? 2. Why are customer refunds not allowed? If a customer is not satisfied with the services offered, surely they can request a refund? Or if they decided to take something else? Or, are you one of those establishments that hold your employees accountable if a customer is unhappy because they couldn't get what they wanted? I would hold the one doing the stock orders accountable if that is a yes. Shame on the owner if that indeed was a yes! Lastly i just want to give a 10/10 to the cashier that assisted me, I'm disappointed that i didn't get her name. I could see that she tried her best to make good out of a bad situation. Fat Cake City Pretoria North does not deserve her because this is not the first time I go there and items is out of stock even when i wanted to order through MR D the items will be marked as out of stock, but she tried her best to make up for the chicken mayo not being in stock by suggesting other meals, unfortunately my wife did not want anything else than chicken mayo.

Hi, we bought 15 small fat cakes today and were smelling sanitizer. Yerr how does a sanitizer get to food????? I don’t how my tummy will react to this poison but I drank milk and we throw the rest of fat cakes meaning the whole R30 bucks down to the drain
4th time i ordered here.... 3/4 times orders were wrong. No Tomato Please: I GET TOMATO ALLERGIC No Raw Onions Please: I GET RAW ONIONS Please Put more sauce on : very little sauce even though its cheap quality Burnt patties.... Thick slice peace of ham cheap Last order the dustbin ate... Ordered from someone else.

Good place for quick bite. Great for kids and it is situated inside Balaauw shopping centre. The prices are reasonable and the staff is efficient. Though they sometimes looks like they are angry, I just think maybe it is their way of show in they are tired.
Very disappointed. Went there on a Saturday night at 6. Ordered 12 "Fat Cakes". Lady just said that they are not very busy, shes not going to make any extra.? Is that not contradicting? This is their main form of business. Selling "Fat Cakes" Sorry, but I will not support them again. Went to Big Bite Roadhouse, they immediately started making my order.
Would not even vote 1 star. Very disgusted and disappointed. As I waited almost half an hour for a sandwitch I could point out MULTIPLE flies on the food in the glass box.To top it off my order was wrong. Would NEVER visit again.
