Very poor customer service and customer retention. When you cancel the service they don't inform you of any outstanding balances , they close the account with a zero balance and hand you over to collection attorneys without any notification in writing or verbally. And to top it off, they then pretend that you don't exist when you want answers for their lack of communication.... AVOID USING THIS COMPANY... GREAT ADVERTISING AND VISIBILITY BUT LACK THE CAPACITY TO RENDER THE SERVICES THEY ADVERTISE.
I had a breaking at my next Door neighbor this morning at 04h15 I was trying to call the control room due to them being clients of adt I called more than 5 times and had no answer the suspects were then arrested by another ec security the company I'm protected by after I had to push my panic button... I really think a good company has started falling the community and us as the community need to look into new company's to protect our assets because the best is failing.sorry but it's the truth.
Their reception is not helpful I kept calling and they kept hanging up, after I mentioned I am enquiring about available vacanies.

Superb venue, very relaxing after a tough day. Serene. Always well positioned for conferences and business catch ups. Definitely worth the effort of having to get into and out of the secure estate.
What an awful experience. They sell us the service, can't connect to our existing alarm system, which is wireless, so they recommend to purchase a new one. What was supposed to be installed the same week, took 3 weeks and more... They came to install multiple times, but either due to loadshedding or unforseen circumstances, it was cancelled. Subsequently, the installer team arrived with what I hoped would not be more excuses, but to my dismay they could not install due to my roof being too tight or something. I explained to them my electrician has ran cables all throughout my roof, to which they said they are not allowed to lift roof tiles, even though I stated this was not necessary. The honestly just did not look keen. So eventually I concede, they leave, I'm out of pocket and still willing to come up with a plan. They send me an updated quote for a wireless system, which naturally costs more. I do some research online and the wireless system is cheaper on multiple sites than what they quoted me for the WIRED system. Their wireless system was even more significantly expensive. I asked them if I could purchase the same system online for the more affordable price and install it myself, to which they weren't very happy. As we just could not come to a conclusive agreement and it seeming as if they just wanted my money, I decided to get an alarm system and armed response elsewhere. My brother-in-law signed up the same week as us. They had an existing system and their alarm system was unplugged for a week due to renovations at his house. Not once did they receive a call. We plugged the system back in, pressed the panic multiple times, but still no response from the security company. They have too cancelled with ADT. If this is how new customers are treated and supposed to be retained in such a competitive market, then I don't know how loyal customers are treated. They have refunded me the alarm money, but not the money we paid to be onboarded. We never received a day's service in 3 weeks, they were just too happy to take our money and not deliver a service.
One star is being generous. I needed help with an issue at my house and control room cut me off twice and did not answer the phone another three times. I was not able to make contact with anyone. Worst control room service ever! This is the first time I’m reviewing the company but this has happened to me on many occasions.
Wish it could be zero stars. Had a car totaled by their intransit van that had had failed brakes. Absolutely no reach out from the company. Thank goodness for insurance but that still doesn't repair all the financial damage. That driver is probably given a new area or a new car to wreck havoc on.
ADT Mimosa made me so mad our gate lock disappeared ...our PA gave me a quote R1700.00..I then phoned...the guy confirmed in Dec the locks where R750 new price is R769.00 ...they send a technician last week to work on low battery that I did not book and pad lock out of stock.. Yesterday 13/06/2022 I phoned made double Shure of pad lock R769..this morning again they rock up with Lock for R1400 so now what is going on here
