First National Bank-Greenstone Shopping Centre

Pathetic! Going on an overseas trip and went to the branch, no one was willing to assist because they were all in a rush home and refused to help. Such poor customer service. When I called the service was no better. I've moved to Capitec and was sorted in less than 10 minutes. Shocking service on FNB part.

I've been to many FNB branches and I would rate this one of the worst due to the lack of urgency and SLOW service. I have came here 3 times now and all 3 times I've waited more than an hour to get assisted. The service is so slow that the queue builds up very quickly. It's a shame that this branch is so bad because I come to this mall quite often.

Staff were excellent and friendly. However there were 10 desks and only 4 staff on duty at the desks. Doing my Fica documents took an hour, and there was a queue of 40 people standing outside the door when I left. Way too few staff.

Total waste of time I don't know who voted this bank number one bank since it's definitely not the customer banking with them over 20 years and services are ridiculous from bad to worse double debit on funeral policy late payments of pentions add debit orders without your consent and refuse to remove them really don't know what they are doing but it's bad for business and credit scores

Nice and cool branch with briliant customer service.

Poor service from the call centre and the branch. They do not understand the urgency and the fact that people have committed fraud in your account. They take everything lightly and staff is so relaxed and enjoy seeing people queueing and that is interpreted as being busy. I am going to close my account as l cannot handle such an attitude and arrogance , it causes rash on my entire body. Poor service is an understatement.

The guy who prints the tickets Completely refused to help me he wouldn't let me deposit in the bank told me you can only deposit if it's R20000 or more how do you deposit small change or cent at the ATM?? He let 4 people just push in front of me so I had to push my way in it is honestly the worst service I have ever had anywhere . Wish I could give them 0 stars!!

This branch has the most absolute unsatisfying customer service. They prefer that deposits are made at the ATM's. Since only 100 notes are accepted per transaction, I needed to make multiple transactions in order to deposit the required amount of cash. After my second deposit - the ATM into which I am depositing did no longer give me the option of depositing cash. I approached a lady working for FNB at the ATM section and explained the situation to her. Her reply: "No, it should give you the option." Okay I get it - but it isn't doing that so what now?.. Stand in another queue to be assisted by the tellers where the is only 1-2 active tellers assisting customers. Being the closest branch in the area - I have visited them on numerous occasions and are unhappy with their service every time.

I was a bit skeptical using this branch given the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. It should however be noted that given the area this is a very busy branch, so expect a queue. That being said I was treated to excellent customer service and timely updates . Annah has amazing patience and made moving to FNB a pleasure. Thank you Annah.

At least have the professional habits of updating the changes your operating hours on your online presence so that people don't stand in front of your branch doors for 30minutes to find out you're not opening on days/hours when you say you are.
