FONTANA Manufacturers has 37 years of experience in the manufacturing of steel closures and 20 years experience in the manufacturing of plastic components, combined with a commitment to producing innovative quality products, has placed FONTANA Manufacturers in a position to be able to serve the global base. In 1988 FONTANA manufactured some two hundred million components and exported to European countries, Asia and Australia.
Today, FONTANA boasts in excess of 1 billion closures per year, which are still manufactured solely in the Umkomaas factory on the Kwa-Zulu Natal South Coast. The company has a distribution network throughout South Africa, with offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town, and exports to the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and Africa.
