Food Lover's Market Southcoast Mall

Having lived in Scotland for over 25 years, it is always a treat to come back to South Africa on holiday and be able to shop for fresh local produce. Food Lover's Market has an abundance of fresh vegetables, fruit, meat, nuts, and other tasty ingredients including sweet and savoury products. All at affordable prices. The amount of choice and quality of the food is absolutely outstanding. Was very reassuring to see that Covid-19 sanitisation and hygiene policies are followed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience for this foodie and I wish we had something like this in the UK. This particular visit I loved their chilli biltong and the watermelon was the best I have ever tasted!

I have purchased meat there several times and recently I have had 3 purchases where when i arrived home, ready to cook, i found that the meat was spoiled/off before the best before date. Please I have been supporting Food Lovers at least 3 times a week and now I have become dispondent.

Very busy today but the cashiers were on the ball and although the line was long, we got served very quickly. Thank you ladies for you speedy and courteous service.

Their fruits and vegetables are fresh and affordable. Everything is packed nicely and tidy. The store is very clean and not to crowded. Their cashiers customer service was amazing. The lady that helped us was patient and friendly.

Great selection of foods and yummy fruits Milk tart not so grand but choc mousse was yummy

Their produce is of good quality , although not always the cheapest ,but steady .Service is good and staff are always friendly and efficient. I did give some of the staff a bit of uphill today, and their response was excellent.staff are well trained

Lots of very nice specials especially on fruit and veg. Bakery items look nice but lacking in taste. Queuing is awful though.

All Food Lovers Markets are well laid out and stocked. I enjoy accompanying my wife to these stores.

You have to be super careful when you shop there. Special offers.always come with some nonsense like buy 3 cucumbers and get a discount translates inton3rd cucumber being off. Discounts get ignored at the till if you don't watch it you don't get it. Always check your till slip or better shop at a decent shop...

Nothing wrong with fruit and veg section....not a large variety of meat on the shelves compared to other Foodlovers we have been to...
