Food Route at Forest Lodge Sports Bar

Had a drink or 2..watch the Irish National rugby side stuff up England and seeing as the atmosphere was getting rather boisterous my wife and I left before any "How s your Father" could occur...Make your own conclusions s.

Not sure we would go there again. Pizza had to be fetched from the restaurant on the corner Not much selection of drinks. I was given toilet paper for a serviette. Staff were obliging though.

An awesome bar with an awesome vibe. Pool tables, slot machines, darts and a fireplace. The guys and girls behind the bar are super friendly and accommodating and even bought us a round of shots. Thered signatures all over the walls which adds a lot of character. Very welcoming atmosphere!

Affectionately called the Dodgy Lodge, we were there specifically for a night of live music by locals DaveyMac and Andre which was stupendous. Would return anytime for the music. Got very rowdy later on with locals arriving to play pool which was very uncomfortable as we had to duck cues...

When three girls walk into a pub and every male turns around to stare at you, you wonder whether you're making a mistake. The barman looked out for us and those who became somewhat 'untidy' in their approach were told to leave. The drinks were promptly served and there was place to dance. My only gripe would be that there wasn't really the type of music that made one want to tap one's feet and dance.

Awesome vibe....live bands in season...and the owners run the business with passion the life is in their food. I rate this 5*

If you're into fun and chilled people, this is the place to be in Sedgefield. Really cool vibe and people.
