Amazing experience!! We went in to look for an anniversary pendant for my wife, but could not find anything suitable. The assistant suggested we speak to Francarlo about designing a custom piece. He is amazing! He is not concerned about how much you are spending, or how much time you spend with him, only about providing you the best possible expeience and product. We cannot wait to see the finished product. You should definitely give them the opportunity to make you a custom piece of jewellery.

Me and my fiance approached many jewelers when we decided to get engaged. We knew we wanted to have a ring custom made to ensure the experience was as special and unique as possible. We decided on a budget and were soon disappointed seeing the lack of interest and customer service from other jewelers. Francarlo stood out from the rest in the best of ways. Not only did Francarlo immediately show interest,but he became excited about taking on the project. Francarlo personally corresponded with us as he searched far and wide to source the perfect purple sapphire. The immense time and effort that was put into our ring made it all the more special, as we knew we were in good hands. Francarlo walked us through the entire design process, making sure we knew exactly what we were getting. We trusted him completely. The end result was the most beautiful lilac sapphire and diamond engagement ring and a matching diamond wedding band. It came out more perfect than we could have ever imagined. I would recommend Francarlo to anyone. If you are looking for something special, look no further.

Horrible service, immature attitude and low grade professionalism. They wiped a family heirloom clean of all it signified then gave me attitude when i was upset about it. It was the only thing i had left of my father that was origanal and they erased it in a single afternoon. Horrible staff and uncaring workmenship.

After reading all the great reviews, we went to Francarlo with the intention of having a 18ct gold family ring redesigned for my wedding ring. The lady who helped us refered to the ring as "scrap metal" and mentioned that they will make their own 18ct gold ring and only use the diamonds. She also continued on making sure we understood how busy they are to a point where we felt that we were of no importance which I found extremely unprofessional. We did not mind that she mentioned how busy they were but the amount of repetition was not nice. She also did not listen to what I wanted at all. We waited a while for a quote and was shocked at what they charged. We went to a different jeweler who charged us a lot less for the same thing plus a whole extra wedding band, listened to what I wanted, did not refer to my family ring as "scrap metal" and made us feel like they enjoyed doing business with us. As a bride to be, making my wedding ring was very important to me and personally Francarlo was a huge disappointment. I will never consider them again.

I was completely aware and definitely NOT oblivious to the fact that a generic strap would not fit my Omega watch.The fact is that I NEVER asked for a genuine Omega strap.Whether it was mis-communication or not,I just expected some feedback or even an attempt to fit a generic strap to my watch.Fischers was willing to go the extra mile for its customer and cut the strap-which was in fact NOT a genuine Omega strap and fit it for me-same day. Something Francarlo was obviously not willing to do.Somehow I was waiting for the " suppliers let us down" line.Well,it's not the suppliers' duty to keep the customer in the picture.It is now water under the bridge and I have a trustworthy jeweller to take my business to.

I will never buy from this store again, I ordered two watches on the website and both of the watches indicated that it was in stock, I then selected each watch and proceeded to the checkout, after checkout their online system sent me a order receipt at 07:40am on the 25th November 2018, I then made a instant EFT payment to them at 07:58 on the 25th November 2018 I also sent the proof of payment proof of payment didn't even matter because I made a instant EFT so the money would of reflected in their account immediately. A Lady then phones me at 11:20am on the 26th November 2018 telling me that they do not have stock of one of the items which I've ordered, I then told her that this is unacceptable because the website indicate that there was stock hence the order receipt was generated by the system, I told her that I want what I paid for and I asked her if she can't perhaps order my watch which I've already paid for in full, she then replied by saying she can but I will be at a higher price, my reply to her was that they store should give it to me at the same price because it was their fault, she then replied and said she'll contact her supplier and get back to me. 14:08 pm on the 26 November 2018 I received a call from the same lady and she informs me that there is no stock of both first it was one now it's both. So the only options I was left with was to choose something else or get a refund. I had to opt for a refund because I didn't want anything else and I couldn't get what I paid for. Reply to the owner: Just to inform you that Elna did not tell me that the watch was discontinued, she just said there is no stock and secondly I informed Elna that I want both of the watches that I paid for or nothing. Just to correct you, the watch was not kept for 24 hrs from the first time she called at 11:20am to say that there is only one of the two available, she called me at 14:08pm on the same day to say they are both unavailable less than 3hrs later.

Francarlos has been our jewellery repair, and resetting jewelery maker since 1985 when we first arrived in Port Elizabeth in 1984. In spite of them and us moving around we have remained loyal because of the quality of, and friendly service.
