What a lucky find this was! We had a light lunch and stocked up on pickles, some fruit and snacks. The cappuccino was delicious- the large really is large! There’s even a small selection of herbs and fruit trees. Thanks so much to the owners for the warm welcome and fast friendly service.

Lovely Cafe & Deli, to stop and refresh. Enjoyed a scrumptious wrap and cappuccino this time and purchased some of the Daschund plunger coffee. Our go-to place on the R56 if it's open when passing through.Food: 5/5

It's a cute, dainty, rustic style coffee shop. It's spacious and warm. The food was amazing their beef burger and fries have my favorite selection. They have inhouse homebrews and a menu that has variety. The service is great. Although we battled to find exactly where the parking was because we are not locals it was tricky but overall it was a great little stop on our trip.

We stopped to get breakfast on our way to the south coast, what an absolute treat with lovely, healthy and tasty food. The staff were super friendly, efficient and very helpful trying to help me have a meal working around dietary needs. We had the most delicious meal. We highly recommend Dachshund Coffee and will be stopping there again on our way back

Was a very unexpected find. Perfect stop-over for coffee and breakfast on our travels. Totally recommend it for a nice break.

The best place to stop if you're travelling through and want a decent place to stop, have a nice coffee, get great hearty food, clean toilets, friendly service, rest and home-baked goodies for purchase. Look no further. Thanks for warming us up at 9am on a misty, wet day.

Found this place by accident after originally planning to have breakfast in Matatiele. What luck. It is really nice to be able to ask for a specific breakfast that is not on the menu and be accommodated with a smile. The food and coffee was fabulous. I bought 3 bags of coffee beans for friends and they love the nutty flavour. We visited again on our return trip and were not disappointed. It is certainly an 'oasis' that travelers should visit if they are driving through.

Must stop when in Maclear! Excellent coffee to go, almond and oat milk for us vegans! Delicious array of rusks, jams, even groceries available. Service is welcoming and friendly.Food: 5/5
