Ga Mothakga Resort

Went with my son it's a local resort but closer to shops it's awesome when you have a budget lifeguards always on-site. Nearby activities: Nkomo village it's a minute away to buy food or drinks Safety: Closed and secure friendly environment Walkability: Because it's an open resort it has a big yard to walk freely around Food & drinks: You can bring your own, there's a braai /bbq spot

It's a nice public park with swimming pool for the kids, and the swimming pool area closes at around 4. However adults can remain until 10 and alcohol is allowed and you can park next to you

Ablution facilities needs to be maintained regularly, picnic area lighting must be sorted include more rubbish bins,

Fun place to spend with friends or family or even colleagues. Has pools and water slides, bathrooms and change rooms. However,the showers and spiral water slide weren't working. It looked like the place was just neglected and no maintenance in the bathroom and water slides. This is a very nice environment for the whole family with beautiful lawns, trees and braai area. For only R20: entrance fee

Really a mediocre resort, no sufficient lighting at night, only 1 adult pool and a few slides. Great for a family day out if you just want to braai and chill. You can play your own music from your car and noise levels aren't restricted. All in all, not bad but not quite elegant.

Beautiful park to rest and meet new faces. The place is open and have lots of space to park. There is a swimming pool and hall to hire for eventsweddings and parties
