We have just returned from a fabulous trip to Venice for a special birthday and we were lucky enough to stay in this lovely hotel. It is in a fantastic location on the Grand Canal with easy access to all of Venice. The staff are attentive and friendly. Breakfast was lovely although we can’t comment on the restaurant as we didn’t book before we arrived and it was fully booked for all of the four nights we were there. We would definitely recommend and would love to return.
What a fantastic property right on the waters! The customer service is above par , the bell captain picked up our luggage from the water taxi and had it delivered to our room, when in the meantime , walked us through getting to San Marcos , to the airport and the gondola rides . The room was very immaculate and so was the bathroom modern and chic. Breakfast was awesome with a spread of fresh produce /pastries and juices . Excellent location and highly recommended when in Venice . The only downside was lack of the hotel’s own shuttle we had to shell out 50Euros to get to the hotel. But the stay was worth every penny.
Excellent hotel! My wife and I stayed at the Sina Centurion Palace for our vacation. It's conveniently located near the Salute waterbus stop just across from San Marco. The staff was very friendly. We had an excellent room with a balcony overlooking the canal, where we watched the annual historical regatta right past our window.Rooms: 5/5
I traveled 2 years ago to this hotel and everything was good. This year I traveled again with my family but nothing comparable! The quality was reduced in all the aspects. We were not satisfied at all. The only good thing was good location.
Five star for service. The staff are totally amazing!!! I was at the hotel for a week - mainly working - meetings with the Biennale curators and the European Cultural Centre and some of the world’s iconic artist clients. The location is absolutely wonderful - you have the best views of the beautiful bustling Grand Canal and it is perfectly located to get the Vaporetto anywhere. Also, the lovely little Traghetto rowed ferry across the canal for €2 or the fun Gondolier which you can splash out on for a touristy thing to do. After a few days I had had enough of the crowded streets and preferred the blissful peace of the outer canal a short walk behind the hotel where you can find the most incredible churches, art, architecture and views. Also, catch the Vaporetto here for Lido or Giardini away from the horrid crowds. Breakfast is very simple but the latte is good. If I were you I would go out for breakfast and explore Venice whilst the streets are empty. Do not get room 105 as the rooms above scrape the chairs across the floor constantly. Suggest felt tabs on the feet of the chairs in all rooms to prevent this. However the back area - the rooms are much quieter than the front facing rooms. Lunch and light snacks are lovely on the canal side deck with superb views or try their Bellini and watch the sunset over the water and paint Venice pink. If you are looking for the best dinner in Venice - book the Gritti terrace restaurant by the water. You will need to remortgage your house but it will be worth it - particularly the white truffle tagliolini. Avoid the Bauer roof top bar they are very arrogant. Harry’s Bar for a glass of champagne is fun. A lovely sunny walk along the beach of the Lido is a perfect end to October. I also loved Ai Weiwei’s breathtaking exhibition at San Giorgio island. Take a water taxi everywhere. The Vaporettos are utterly crammed packed
Gorgeous hotel. Great location. Our room was lovely however due to the toilet being down a flight of stairs from the bedroom, may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The staff are very attentive. Even though the breakfast was good, we were disappointed with dinner, we expected better from a five star hotel.Rooms: 5/5
Beautiful view but at the end they charged us a penalty of 870 euros due to booking cancellation rules!!! They told us you reserved 2 times through booking and Expedia. Our reservation through booking was canceled before arriving because we got a better offer through Expedia. It was like a shock for us when they informed us you have to pay penalty !! They informed us at the moment of checkout so the only thing we could do was to contact to the booking. Booking told us, you shouldn’t pay anything because you already canceled your reservation with us. They told us they are trying to send emails to the hotel but they don’t receive any answer. I think the hotel did this intentionally to charge us. I think that wasn’t professional at all for a 5 star hotel. The manager didn’t even show up to talk to us. Not a good experience in this lovely city.
We had a lunch in this gorgeous place and I would highly recommend, amazing location, amazing view, amazing food and very good service, hotel is beautiful and it’s garden and design!!! Place worth visit for a delicious treat!
Poor management and poor service. Rooms really don't worth this price. It's like a joke to pay almost 900 euros per night for this service. Low quality of breakfast. We will not back to this hotel again.
The rooms are great. The bed was comfortable, and the location can't be beat.Rooms: 5/5
