Garden Court Hotel Kempton Park

The Hotel is beautiful and all that, but they should upgrade and provide microwave and bar fridge in their rooms. They should also make their irons easily accessible, like maybe have ironing stations in corridors/ passages. These days you hardly find a hotel with no bar fridge and microwave. Please Garden Court O. R. Tambo, don't disappoint.

The service was good, the food was good. The rooms were poor. For R1530 there was not even a small fridge where one could keep water or cooldrink cold, there were no 2 point plugs to charge cellphones. The beds were good. The safe was good. The cubboards were good. The bathrooms can be upgraded to have proper showers. For half the price it could have been OK

This is not a 5 star hotel, but in their categorie absolutely outstanding. We arrived by coincidence because we were stranded at the airport in the middle of the night. We selected the hotel because of the distance to the airport and late check in. The next morning we saw that there was a pool, an Irish pub and a fantastic breakfast! The staff is helpful and funny. Thank guys!

Nice hotel. It's location is a bit awkward and it's easy to get lost. The food needs a bit of improvement. Red meat was served only in strips for the 2 days that I was there. Something also tasted offish in their veggies and 2 of my colleagues experienced upset tummies. The staff is friendly and helpful. The conference microphones were not working properly.

We really got the best service, place is clean and pleasant to stay at. The buffet area so clean and smelling fresh. Keep up the good work Rooms: 5/5

A real old building, like walking into a time machine, however I enjoyed the nostalgic experience. Staff very helpful, but I will skip the buffet next time. I thought the flight schedules in the lobby was a nice touch, but monitors do need upgrading.

I stayed for one night. It is on good location for travelers through OR Tambo airport. Overall service and food experience is not so bad. But want to say they could have done more on the rooms, almost there is no recent technology in the rooms and the rooms equiped with the old style metal door and window frames; it was not something I expected.

Multiple misfunctions within the room made it extremely uncomfortable. Aircon screen only half worked so couldn't see what temp it was on & it kept turning off in the night. Shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor. Electrical outlet next to bed hanging off the wall. Phone next to bed had had no instructions on how it worked, the phone didn't work only on speaker mode & was very soft & the screen kept coming on throughout the night waking me up every 30min. No bath. Storeroom right outside my room made so much noise everytime someone used it & slammed the door.

Nice and cosy, good food at the buffet. Shuttle service to the airport But it would be nice if they added some brushes in the toilet.Rooms: 5/5
