Gardens Pick 'n Pay - Port Elizabeth

Nov 2019. This is a definite stopover for all the Circular Drive motorists. This revamped chain store is extremely neat and tidy. Shelves are all well merchandised with specials arranged on the tends of the aisles. Staff are all prepared to guide you to the correct aisle that you are needing. They mostly have sufficient till attendants so your queue time is short. Lastly, you have plenty of close parking to round off a good shopping experience. Last week on Thursday, 2July 2020, I arrived to purchase a R330 basic food special for our Maid who had run out of her Lockdown food. Two 10kg bags were not in stock. Between top management and Gaynon, their floor manager, P&P weren't out of their way to assist me by supplying, at no extra cost, smaller sized bags. As per normal, the store was very clean and staff friendly and helpful. I saw face masks everywhere. Please support this extremely helpful convenient chain store in Lorraine Gardens. Thanx!!!

Clean store but Pricey and bad with Returns and customer service. They Very unhappy to do Refunds. They only use the pnp name. Always out of stock of promotional items and won't exchange if bought from another Pick n Pay... So they must do better or change the name.

I am extremely disappointed in the service with the bakery. I placed an order Yesterday morning for today, the lady who assisted confirmed the order will be ready. Collect the order today and there was none! Apparently I had to call management to place an order but the receptionist transferred me to the bakery. Poor service!

This particular store is almost infamous for never having their shelves properly stocked and often having popular products entirely out of stock before the middle of the month even hits. I don't go to this branch unless I have to

Not a wide variety of goods, stock levels were low and quality of fruit and vegetables was low. Some if the meat was good. Again variety was poor. Has gone down from how I remember. Staff at tills were good though.

Of all the Pick n Pay stores I have been to in P.E. This is the best one. That is not saying much, the store is at least clean, and the cashiers are friendlier than Newton Park PnP. The fresh produce area is too small and always a battle to get and out of. Not bad. But as I have found with every PnP in P.E. there is lots of room for improvement.

Most pathetic pick n pay ever been too. Fresh produce should have been removed from shelves days ago. Cashiers do not have change. Asked if she could give R88 in coins. Really. GET ACT TOGETHER

Actual shop is fine. But the creepy Male staff member that follows my wife and her female friends around making inappropriate comments and "cat calling" even when I am with them makes the entire shopping experience cringe worthy. When I asked the other staff if he does this to all women I was told "no, only towards the ones he finds attractive". We are now taking the extra drive out to walker drive pick n pay where we can shop without being harrassed.

My go to store , neat , clean and tidy. Never experienced such a nice and clean meat section with no bad smells. All you want and all you need. All your convenience shopping in one place

One stop shop... Never had to argue or dispute anything from this shop. You can also get your electricity here. Very convenient and they close at 20h00...
