Join us for an amazing underground gemstone mine tour on site, where we will show you how gemstones are mined, polished and set into beautiful jewelry. Afterwards you can quench your thirst or enjoy a delightful meal at our coffee shop while your young gem hunters search for their own gemstones in the scratch patch or chase each other around our race track with the pedal cars. What a gem of a find. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the mine tour - David was wonderful - and the scratch patch was a huge hit. The coffe shop food was also delicious. Will definitely return.
Great surprise finding such a huge semi precious stone scratch patch, a little go cart racing track and mini mining apparatus for the grandkids. An even greater surprise to find such an stunning elegant jewellery shop with a huge range of precious and semi precious stones gorgeous modern jewellery! Perhaps a more elegant coffee shop and it would be a destination venue for sure.
Not the best place to spend your time at. Really overly priced on their jewelry and stones. Do not expect much from the mine tour as it is not worth the price. Very basic and simple, and the tourgide not very knowledgeable in this field. The buckets for the scratch pad is overly priced. R60 for an extra small bucket not even the value of half a cup. The food is OK. Fairly priced. When you get your food, make sure everything is on your plate as it states on the menu as they got our order wrong one egg in stead of two, and three pieces of bacon in stead of four, on a day where we were the only two customers at the coffee shop. The only reason why I gave two stars for this review is because the tourgide was friendly, and because of the friendly and apologetic service we got from our waitress.
Nice big scratch patch but heavily overpriced, will not be going back.
