GROUNDS open to all Scouts. You can catch and release fish. R40 kids camp fee p/day overnight and R60 for adults. Ground are serene and so peaceful. Gillwell, itself, specifically is for all Scouting related events.

Such a wonderful place for the scouting side of life however for a good camping spot its pretty great too. It does get rather wet in summer and rather cold in winter. For water activities and a large area to have a great time it is the perfect place to go. Has everything you need and nothing you dont. Personally I have a lot of fantastic memories here.

Nice to return to the spiritual home of Gauteng Scouting. Perfectly maintained with many points of significance to scouts past and present. Venue for many youth and adult leadership courses, from LDC and PLTC to PLTU.
Awesum place for the boys & girls. Such an important, structured environment for the youth to develop & grow. The scouting movement is amazing for this.

We were so blessed at this venue. On a yearly basis we receive entertainment by the scouts. Music food galore and tons of love
