Empowering young leaders to go from GOOD to BETTER to BEST by sharing simple & practical methods based on my own personal experiences as an Engineer, Rotarian & Scout.
Good, Better, Best never let it rest. Until your good is better, and your better is best.
This has been a personal mantra of mine ever since I joined the Cub Scouts as a young boy and I learnt to always do my best and be prepared.
My entire life has been in the pursuit of continuous improvement and it is no surprise that after studying process engineering I find myself working as a continuous improvement manager in the FMCG industry.
No matter in what situation or organisation I am in, I’m always looking for ways to do it better, faster, cheaper, etc. Mostly by designing processes, systems and templates to improve the lives of those around me.
What started out as an attempt to improve Rotaract clubs in my Rotary district, has grown into what I believe is a practical system to help young leaders realize their full potential by building momentum and continuously improving from GOOD to BETTER to BEST!
Through a process of research, trial & error and experimentation I analysed various organisations and tried to determine what the successful ones were doing well in comparison to their unsuccessful counterparts.
My research showed that successful clubs, people and organisations had a very strong foundation built on the following four key areas, areas I like to call the four M’s of the Momentum Loop.
Mission + Money + Marketing + (Me)mbers = Momentum Loop
If these 4 areas are kept simple they will form the foundation on which to build momentum and thus continuously improve from GOOD to BETTER to BEST!
