The Gosebo’s Corporate Suites & Lifestyle Lounges conducts its business activities in a rather unspoilt old-house charm. Most of the house’s aesthetics such as the dark wood flooring and lighting fixtures have been retained to reflect a bygone era. The wood flooring is however complemented by rich earthy tones that reflect the vibrancy of the place. As the name denotes, the place meets two of its specific imperatives in High-end Suites and Lifestyle Lounges.
Our guests culminate their daily schedules in high-end Corporate Suites aptly named after the erstwhile Mashishing Polity. Among the names used are: Mashishing, Motsepula, Morone, Tubatse, Mafate, Shaga, Moloi, Mogalanyane, Phurutsi, Tsatsi, Moloka, Molopo, Seholela,
to mention but a few.
The Molopo Suite is a 50m² expansive area featuring anensuite-bedroom and a private lounge – all private entrance. The Suite is furnished with:
• a queen-sized bed donned with percale/silk linen, antique headboard and a set of pedestals,
• bathroom amenities
• Writing desk and a chair,
• A bar fridge,
• Tea/Coffee making facilities
• A leather couch
• A plasma stand with a music system, and HD TV with Satelite TV, and
• an array of artwork and pictures.
• A 12 year old single or blended whisky (T& C’s apply)
The Lifestyle aspect of the place is provided through in the Whisky & Cigar Lifestyle Lounge that among others provide an ambiance of relaxation, sumptuous & bespoke menus and an overflow of whiskies (that only include single and blended malts), punctuated by the best cigars.
The living areas are created in a manner that exudes the true essence of living, style and décor of the Bakholokwe (a Basotho Nation of South Africa). Renowned for their creativity in their daily occurrences and architect, the Bakholokwe’s style is depicted in almost all the living areas of the place. The décor is sleek, dark, and oval (a reflection of the architecture and organisation of Bakholokwe living). The furniture includes leather and upholstery couches, a music system and an array of pictures.
The Gosebo’s Corporate Suites & Lifestyle Loungesdoes not fall short of a truly home-eating feeling. This is augmented by palatesreputed to be a furtherance of goals of Afrikan eating and hospitality. The palates offer a variety of meals prepared from slow-heat methods and from a variety of rare & free range products. Starches from this restaurant feature indigenous staples such as idombolo (isiZulu), sphaphata (sepedi), umngqusho (isiXhosa), amagwinya pap (inclusive) and other Moroccan types of rice. These are relished with variants of venison, mala-mogodu, maotoana, home/farm reared chicken, Moroccan Tagines to mention but a few.
This sleek and contemporary (with finishes that include black & white pictures, artwork collected from various parts of the continent) Lifestyle Lounge is fully open for everyone on Saturdays and Sundays only between 14h00 to midnight. Otherwise the place is available as a reservation only on other days of the week. Meals are served daily between 12h00 and features both contemporary and Afrikan variations.
Whilst meals can be enjoyed inside the Lounge, these can also be enjoyed at our eBaleni Open Dining.
The living areas have further been created to reflect the artistic nature & lustre, and being of the proud Bakholokwe Nation.
