Very poor after sales service! Been struggling to get Pylontech battery warranty claim processed since 20 January 2023 and still not resolved. Invoice number with screenshot of invoice provided but now wants full invoice.... Surely you have a system where you can access?! Why make it the customer's problem! Attempts to escalate not successful either. Carel Smith does not answer calls or messages.

Had a terrible experience with the GC Solar Pretoria East Franchise. Bought a 5kw back up system. Had one item that I wanted to return, 40A AC Combiner box. I was under the impression that it would be a 63A box. Phoned the salesman immediately and he tells me they don't have 63A in stock, I can return for a credit but not for cash, I say I am fine with that. I then purchase a 63A box elsewhere and then go to return the 40A box, only to be met with by the manager or superior as he calls himself. Supposedly the combiner box is "intellectual property and cannot be returned", never mind that the salesmen informed me I can return it. Also according to him GC Solar has 35% handling fee return policy, and I must check on the website.I leave after a few minutes and check the GC Solar website, handling fee is 15%, so the manager is a liar or does not know the policies of the franchise he owns. Also checked the prices of the AC combiner box. They sold me the 40A box for R4500 but the same is sold elsewhere for R2000 or less. So there prices are standard prices for GC solar provided equipment, but they will rip you off for any extras. DON'T TRUST THEM.

Worst company to work with, place an order get and got an invoice to pay. Then told no stock only after I had to ask what is happening with my order two days later. Send emails to the sales rep and no one replies. Online process is very flawed compared to other suppliers CT and JHB branches are separate entities that adds even more complexity

Professional Services and good service time.

No after sales service. No interest or care once payment has been received. 7 weeks for repair of inveter which had to be collected personally as still no word from GC Solar on what's happening with the repair.

Very bad expierience from sales person at warehose. I am a registered klient and requested 2 x quotes. And the sales person said he can not give me a quote on both retail and contractor price. Were all this qoutes that I received was done like this without a problem. Then this sales person got rude and I just wasted my time talking to him.

Great service. Had great experience.

Ordered a new battery and a bunch of brackets Monday 5 April, by 09:00 on Tuesday i had everything ordered. Great service.

Apparently they only do big tenders.. very unfriendly response from the sales person

Was Here for a meeting, they want to be the leaders in solar.... during the meeting they had load shedding... we finished our meeting in the DARK!!!! So much to say to the leaders in Solar energy!!
