High quality leather goods, handmade on the property you can see the workshop in the building next door. The range of leather shoes, hiking boots, veldskoens, sandals & more is impressive, well priced too. And you can pick up lunch & coffee next door. Worth the drive to get here.

Very lovely shop. Has wonderful handmade craft leather goods. My husband loves his new wallet and boots. I bought a pair of sandals which I love, however one small weird thing the first time I strapped them on at home they were a tad strange, they tread through the buckle the wrong direction the one sandal had a strap that was at least 3 inches longer on one side so I had to punch another hole and cut the excess off. So after fixing each one to fit properly I love them!!

The most wonderful leather shopping place. Exemplifies the Midlands craft, care and service. I just custom Coloured my new shoes to order. Easy to do that here. And a lifetime of shoe care. What more can you ask.  Love this place.

I find the footwear very Comfortable and great quality.. My one boot sole took a dive,, No problem they're replacing them.. The shopkeeper Hillcrest Amazing.

The restaurant is good.  We went to the groundcover leather store to buy a few leather goods and the experience was terrible. As black shoppers we were subjected to the most offensive treatment by the white shoppers there and the staff seeing all of this said and  did nothing. What a disappointment.

Wow, wow, wow!!! This store is an ABSOLUTE hidden gem! I'd you're into almost anything leather you can get it here. Good is an understatement of the year for groundcover leather co. Massive selection of shoes, handbags, purses,  wallets, boots, shoes, sandals, slops, vellies and so much more.

The Barn owl is a charming eatery at Groundcover. Menu not very extensive. Beautiful views and a lovely pay area for a range of ages.  Short distance from the N3 on a not so nice dirt road.

A great quality product,  I had shoes made  and the attention to detail and comfort is amazing. @barnowl is on the property so you can get amazing food and great coffee as well.

What a fantastic footwear find among the fauna of the Midlands. From veltskooner to slippers, to bags and belts, this is a leather Mecca worth visiting.  Lovely people too.
