Nicolas Fourie is a guitarist with 16 years of finger picking, string busting, music cranking and recording experience to his name. The Guitar Star Facebook Page was built to inspire budding guitarists. Although Guitar Star is based in Vanderbijlpark, South Africa, the aim of this page is to give guitarists globally, a platform to find inspiration to keep jamming it up!
Guitar Star Guitar Lessons is a young vibrant local guitar tuition service based in the town of Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng. Guitar Star Guitar Lessons was founded by Nicolas Fourie in 2010 in Pretoria but recently started up again in Vanderbijlpark. Guitar Star is for everybody wanting to learn the guitar, young and old are most welcome. Almost anybody can play if they really want to!
Nick gives lessons that are fun, tailor made to suit his students and he goes the extra mile to teach students songs that they really want to learn instead of "death by guitar method book" (although he does use guitar method books and other resources).
