A flea market is a flea market is a flea market, nothing exceptional although its now Lulu's owned by renowned singer / songwriter Blackie Swart. A definate improvement over the what used to be Coyotes. Still finding their feet but worth a visit.
Ideal to have a quick meal or a cold drink, we had visited during the weekend which also had live music. If you’re looking for something typical to take back home this is ideal place to find some good bargains
70% of the people ignored me when I went to their stalls. The gentleman sling knives, was especially so rude to me and it was because I'm Indian. I sae the way he treated the Afrikaans speaking people and he's absolutely racist
Very nice homemade produce, amazing crafts, friendly people, place to relax and playpark for the kids. Two restaurants and an outdoor sports bar.
Open air market with large variety of Crafters and other types of stalls. Open on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Situated next to the new Lulu's restaurant and pub where you can relax with good food, drinks and sometimes live music.
We first tried to go to the market on Saturday, as some places online say it’s open Saturday, some say it’s open Sunday only, and some say it’s open both days. Apparently it’s not open on a Saturday. So we came back the next day, only to be disappointed by the lack of stalls and general emptiness. There wasn’t a great variety of products on sale and a lot of the stuff seemed like I could get at Oriental City. I did however get a really nice iced coffee. Luckily there was the Windmill across the road, which has a few stalls and an awesome fresh produce market.
Had lunch at Café La Bonheur. Excellent as usual. Waiter was a bit disinterested but then he allocated a waiter-in-training to us, and it went better. Good place to take people with no limit on your budget because you know the food is going to be of a high standard.
We are one of the vendors at the market. Completely new market that reopened after the outbreak of Covid. Worth a visit.
I was there on Sunday! A beautiful place with a lot of potential! Great thumbs up for management so far, we will review in a few months again. I personally think this place going to go places soon!
Awesome Country Market. A bit of everything. Specially the life music from some of our Country's best Artists.
