Haziwell Daison is the founder of HD Agriculture Consultancy Company and his two young brothers Munyaradzi Siti as the administrator and Luke Siti as the consultation supervisor. He worked for Zimbabwean government as an agriculture extension officer and changed to the department of livestock production working as a livestock extension worker before deciding to start his own Agriculture consultation company.

HD Agriculture consultancy is a new consulting venture that is planned to officially open for business on 1 February 2016. The company main office is in South Africa Johannesburg and it will grow in 3 years to be know the whole country and external affiliates around the globe. We only sell consulting services to individuals, companies and activities associated with agriculture.

Executive Summary
HD Agriculture Consultancy will consult farmer that want to be efficient in their farming as a business. We will help our clients to attain economic utilization of land so that they reduce shortages of food in the country. We will be mainly dealing with crops and animal production as from land preparation to harvest and from birth to first serving or bullying.
Our company realize that this new venture in agriculture consulting require technical excellence grounded in economic realities. We seek to serve to individuals and companies as a consulting company for their day to day running of business so that they can be able to feed the nation. The company will also expand into rural areas to teach subsistence farmers on how to manage their crops and animals to fight poverty.
The potential market is enormous. Experts have estimated that if farmers consult they will harvest more comparing to those who does not.


General Business Activities

Providing trainings of emerging and existing farmers, gardens, projects and interested individuals in agriculture.
Visiting of clients to identify and evaluate their problems and /or technical requirements.
Assisting clients with business planning, planning applications, and government grant applications, legislation advice and new business ventures.
Collecting and analyzing data, crop yield and financial reports to measure performance.
Preparing or modifying business or operation plans.
Organizing and conducting field trials to find solutions to client’s problems.
Planning and implementing improvements for the clients such as using more effective pest control measures or finding more efficient ways to keep and feed livestock.
Organizing presentations, demonstrations, training and farm walks for clients, colleagues, partnership organizations, professional bodies and other interested groups.
Communicating effectively, both in writing and orally, with clients, colleagues and members of the public.
Writing advisory leaflets, technical notes and possibly press release and articles.
Marketing and promoting consultancy services to new customers, while maintaining existing client’s relationship.
Researching and keeping up to date with any relevant developments in agriculture.
Undertaking administrative duties, managing budgets and accounts, updating information and preparing reports.

Scope of the work
HD Agriculture consultancy, conduct consultancy and marketing of agriculture purposes. The company undertakes all works and running of agribusiness at the same time teaching on security for the customer’s property.


Financial consideration
The company expect to reach the desired profits in the first year and does not anticipate serious cash flow problems. We believe the average profitability in 3 years will be sufficient. Most of the company’s liabilities come from management investments. The estimated capital to fully start the business is R50 000. The nature of work we do is a combination of technical engineering, economic forecasting and management strategies all on a strict confidential basis. Our basic hourly rate of R500/hr for partners and R1000/hr for associates applies to most of our services. In a certain circumstances we can be compensated with equity in the clients venture.
