While I find the staff members friendly and the facilities of this gym accomodating. I can't overlook the numerous ongoing problems the gym has. One or more machines are always broken and there is long periods before they are repaired, the showers are in a terrible state, the staff do very little in making sure the other members re-rack the equipment after use leaving me to go hunting for what I need, one particular trainer has no consideration for other members and the music is near deafening levels of volume. The gym is not perfect, no gym is, but has plenty of room of improvement that is not being addressed. My history with the gym in the past is what keeps me from going lower in rating, but in the near year long time I've been going has made it very lacking. Overall, I still recommend this gym for it has the basic facilities, some classes one can attend to and a well kept swimming pool.

Health World Benoni, or whatever they’ve decided to call them today. Seems to be ever changing. If you want a cheap gym, this is the place. However that comes with some draw backs, dirty machines, poorly maintainednot at all maintained machines. Semi friendly staff and squash courts! Yes you read that correctly squash courts, you risk splinters and lights falling on your head but they are there none the less. They will also reel you in with a enticing 12 month membership contract with 2 months free! If you pay upfront. But be warned after your 12 months you will get a message saying your contract has expired ? Goodluck to anyone who has recently signed here I wouldn’t recommend it in the slightest.

Nothing better than knowing there is always someone to help. Service is great and the people even better. Clients who moan and say there is something wrong obviously dont know what they talking about.

I was very impressed with the quick and efficient service. Eduan went above and beyond to obtain the speaker from Pretoria and bring it back to Benoni. I enjoy step classes, hence the speaker is very important to get the music going, and motivating us to get that extreme cardio fitness with a smile. Eduan, you're a star

It all went well until we realised for the gym it all was about the money, we ended up paying adout R700 every month for 4 months althought me my wife and my child only used the gym 2 or 3 times before our contract had to be renewed and all we did was use the swiming pool during that period,. That said we paid R2800 to go and swim 3 times. We informed the gym the we are under finansial distress but clearly that does not bother them all they want is the money.

Horrible place they lie to you saying it opens at 4.30 on google. It was 5:27 not open today. Maybe they are late? Machines need to be serviced as they are in horrible condition. Quick to take money. ~Jason

It's proudly local. Nice classic gym environment. Friendly, effective and helpful staff. Forgot to mention,big bang for your buck.

Firstly, its a good place under new ownership and management. Some challenges tho; I think the new management is still trying to find their feet, i hope they can sort everything in time before it creates more challenges. Website is up but nothing constructive on it, google times are all wrong.. Opening and closing times seems to be a grey area even tho 24/7 is advertised but not the case, Eugene gives times but not sure, Franco gives the wrong times. So ja, old school gym. Lets hope they get it sorted. Franco, atleast update the fb, google and website pages to feature correct opening and closing times and should the switchboard be not working again, perhaps post it on fb so that your customers and potentials know whats up and how to get hold of you. The low rating is purely for the lack of proper communication, poor and inconsistent opening and closing times as well as alternative contact details if the land line is non operational. One lil poster does not constitute good communication to your customers.

Treadmills are usually out of order and the machines are old. When a treadmill is working, they stop during a session because of “over heating”. It’s dangerous because you can fall. There needs to be an improvement on the machines, honestly!

Best gym experience and awesome vibe. Great well mannered and hard-working staff.
