I have done bussiness with The Handy House over many years. They are the oldest Building Material and Hardware Bussiness. Comparing to Groups there are no coparrison because of the PERSONAL attendance you receive from the staff immidatly after entering. I came from the Groups outlet half an hour ago. Nobody on the floor to assist you, everybody somewhere hiding in the back of the store. Luckely just opposite the road The Handy House got another Hardware Store in Flamwood Walk Mall and I catch them just while busy closing. They still helped me with a small piece of double sided tape. Always willing to help.
Was very good . The person who help me was very helpful and nice.
Handy House can still supply basic building supply's...for tools and key cutting their branch in Flawood Mall can accommodate you.
Are they busy moving or what? Not even half of the shelves are carrying any stock? None of the staff members even greeted me when I walked in, never mind offered to help me. I found the place quite creepy being in the industrial part of town and the shop being so devoid of stock. I will not be visiting there again. I found it laughable that they had a stock warehouse a few blocks away. For what? The shop was empty!?
The Handy House is great for quick stops. Almost anything hardware related - chances are they'll have it, and at a reasonable price too. They've been open for almost forever! Cement, tools, paint, pool equipment - nails, bolts and nuts... They'll have what you need!
Have been dealing with them since they opened in the old shop. They are willing to walk an extra mile with you. Always supportive and friendly.
After years of not being happy with service, my last two visits were outstanding. Good variety of stock.
As I understand it was the best hardware store in North West. Currently almost no stock and mostly wasted my time to try and find something there.
The locksmith are fantastic to help fixing my honda jazz lock,I pray Gods peace and favour over all the stuff
I drove 120km to collect my chainsaw blades that Jan committed telephonically to have ready. At arrival I was told that Jan was on holiday and no one knew anything about the blades
