Loved everything about the place. Getting more bedding in the freezing cold was no problem for the friendly staff. The animals came to greet us in the morning and that was a great site. I would most defenately go back there again.

This place is unfortunately long past its heyday. I'm sure covid has contributed to the decline, but the website and the reality are far removed. Besides it being run down, it's also dirty. The toilets are bad. The doors are all on a single hinge, and only some taps work. Even though we booked a lapa, it was not swept and cleaned, and we were terribly disappointed. The 4x4 route was non-existent and also not maintained. I do not recommend you go on it unless you don't mind damaging your vehicle. The route is poorly marked, and we had to make hair raising reverse procedures to avoid some impassable sections. Sorry to say, but we won't be returning here.

My first impression was of a cluttered reception, which looks like a hoarder's flat, with barely any space to move. It hardly welcoming when your host asks you to complete your documentation outside, as her office is a bit messy. Our toilet wasn't working on arrival and we never had hot water for any of the two nights we spent there. We were told that one geyser supplies three chalets which sleep 8 to 10 people each with hot water. No wonder, we never had hot water, I can't imagine giving 20 to 30 people hot water with one geyser. When I phoned the cellphone number on the entrance signboard for hot water the second night, some rude woman informed me that she was in the Western Cape and I had phoned the wrong number, but phone the same number during the day and you get through to the right people. Sort out your call divert options, people! And to boot, they deduct R200 from my breakage fee for an ugly, old yellow towel; which was supposedly missing on our departure. As if anyone would want to take them home. This place is in need of major maintenance and the staff is in need of proper training. Do yourself a favor, don't go Hennopspride.

What an amazing place to spend a hot summer's day. Not over crowded. No queues for the slides. Family friendly, and something for toddlers - adults. Plenty of lifeguards, keeping an eye on everyone's safety. Lots of shade and braai facilities. Toilets are clean and well looked after. We even saw some zebra as well.

The pools are clean, and I love the animals that pops ups around. The only thing I didn't like was the low volume of the music, it would a great atmosphere with audible music around

A lovely and cost-effective sho't left. They could do some maintenance and fix a few things other than that it was an enjoyable stay.

Service is terrible,we phoned a day prior to arrival and all sounded great.Apon arrival we where told there is not enough life gaurds and most of the pools and slides will be closed.We then asked if we can get a discounted price because why pay in full,if most of the facilities can't be used.But we where told we have to pay full price or come back another day.The manager and staff is rude and unprofessional.The rules at the pool also just apply to certain people.We went swimming in one of the bigger pools and was chased away,they told us there is pool acid in the poolWhat ever.We are adults and dont need supervision from a livegaurd.They will definitely not see us again or anyone that will ask me about the place.The bathrooms are in a terrible state,and most of the lights does not even work

Went there with my family yesterday and we had a blast but what mostly stood out for us was the great service and very friendly crew, especially the life guards. The crew was always ready to assist. We are definitely coming back on New years day!!

For the price, well worth a visit. You can take your own alcohol and food in. Clean pools, and lots of life guards.

A pleasant day out among trees, water park. But you have to park extremely far and walk long distances to enter/exit park. No shade trees for parking. Booked a lapa near certain pools for my 2 year old grand son's birthday. Arrived and started to unpack when we were told there are no life guards so the pools may not be used. It was basically paddel pools and slides for young children. 6 adults present to watch and accompany the toddler. We were relocated but it was not we had planned or booked for. We could have been warned during the booking process and made alternative arrangements.
