Uitsig High School is a well presented school with many cultural and academia to choose from. Unfortunately a school which used to have a high standard of merits does not measure up in 2022. This is evident by the low grade averages that is achieved in many critical subjects Maths and Afrikaans in particular. I have noticed a lack of commitment and passion this cohort of teachers display, of-course with a few exceptions The Class of 2022 matriculants who were worst impacted by covid restrictions got very little support during the year. No extra classes were held to catchup on time lost. As a measure, you would need to source private tuitions if you want your child to obtain a Bachelors pass like we did. The in-class learnings are most inadequate and absenteeism is a concern. Teacher re-training and upskilling is required. CHANGE IS NEEDED @ UITSIG HIGH SCHOOL !!!

I've been trying to get ahold of the lady via email as it's said to be the quickest way to communicate. She hasn't responded as yet even after a follow up email was sent. It's poor service and definitely something to consider when it comes to communication and the responsibility towards our kids and their education faculty.

There's no basketball court

Great multi racial school with a great team of educators and pupils. Hoerskool Uitsig has a wide range of sports and activities pupils can choose from not to mention it is a Christian School with high values and ethics.

They never answer the phone when you have enquiries. I've called on multiple occasions and they just hang up on you before you can even ask a question let alone saying hello. It's very rude and poor customer service.

I'm a grade 8 student at Uitsig and the experience so far had been amazing
