Poor customer service, they dont even deserve 1 star. I took in my Russel Hobbs steamer for repairs and was notified to collect it 2 weeks after, They relocated to Gemiston without even notifying customers, leaving a notice on the door without a contact number. I got to Gemiston to only be told that my steamer was in Fourways. They promised to courier it to my address and I'm still waiting to this day! It's been more than 3 weeks and no attempts to contact me.
Three months ago I took my Russel Hobbs coffee machine for repairs. I have been physically inquiring every second week about the states of my machine by gonig there. During that period I received a message once but no name was left so I could not return the call. The staff is incompetent has no clue what customer service is and clearly will not go out of their way to improve communicatin. There is no mangement that you can talk to for any assistance. The don't care attitude is absolutely disgusting. 11th August I received a call from Eureniah advising me she sent an email in June just to find out she had my address completly wrong. Why could she just pick up the phone when I did not respond. Russel Hobbs and any other brand that is making use of this hopeless company has to find another establishment to handle their repairs or their brands will suffer terribly.

I had a Russel Hobbs kettle that went in for repairs under warranty. It took them 3 weeks to tell me that the kettle could not be repaired. I was told that I would receive an email with the options of a replacement kettle. 3 days have passed and I have made numerous phone calls only to still be in the dark about what is going to happen and when I will receive my new kettle. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE service!! If there is something that will convince me not to buy a Russel Hobbs product, it will be the service I received from the repair centre! Never again!
The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I brought in my machine and had to wait for an hour for anyone to attend to me. The receptionist keeps calling but no one is coming. This is by far the worst. I am never buying anything that needs Living Brand for repairs period.
Today is the third day that I have phoned to speak to someone to just answer a simple question of whether an item is in stock. I have been on hold for 30 minutes on end since the first day, I keep getting transferred to different departments when they deign to answer and the lack of accountability is appalling. Please don’t ever purchase from here if you value your time and money.
I purchased a spare part and within no time I was heading home.the service was great and quick. That's what I call customer service.
I am struggling to find a part on my Russel Hobbs Water Dispenser. Spoke to Fiona in Durban on Friday who promised a call back before the end of business. Did not happen. Phoned again today. Sorry Jhb did not send the quote. Phoned two hours later, sorry part does not come seperatly, have to buy whole compressor. Spoke to Lucky in Jhb, tells me they are awaiting a shipment. Two different stories. Asked to speak to a manager. From 12:00 till 17:00 waited for a manager to call me back. Never happened. Very bad after sales service and i will never buy another Russel Hobbs brand ever again.
Had a pleasant experience. I needed to replace my Russell Hobbs slow cooker lid. Friendly service.
Had very good service from living brands. They helped me tremendously with parts then a new machine. They went the extra mile. Thank you ! Parking was safe. Good security.
