The most friendly and professional people we have dealt with. Having never fished in a dam, Steve and team set us up with rods, reels, baits, basically everything. I will not use any other tackle shop. They not only looked after us but our pockets as well by giving us various options. Thanks all
Great shopping experience. Steve went out of his way to assist with any queries I had and was always friendly. Even with me rambling on Will definitely keep supporting him.
One of my favourite angling stores, the owner - Steve, is an avid fisherman who provides excellent advice and guidance. Friendly oke, who you can really have a great chat with. He knows the majority of fishing places and can advice on tackle or bait options. Opens early in the morning and most public holidays, the shop is well stocked at affordable prices. For all your fishing needs in the Brakenhurst/Brackendowns area, Set the Hook is the perfect stop, they service Fun Fishing, Orbi Rus Inn R50 Dam and Jackson Dam spots. For beginners to pros, can't go wrong with Set the Hook. The store will be moving the weekend of the 28th April to new premises on Hennie Albert's.
Owner goes above and beyond to assist clients . He has alot of knowledge and is always happy to share. Prices are good, baits are fresh. Highly recommend!
The owner of the place is such a kind man. He is very smart and helpful. He will not rip you off or scam you, he sincerely just loves fishing and wants other people to share in that joy.
Small but personal fishing store. You can get everything needed for fishing here and the service is great.
Most friendly and helpful service
Kindness is shown and plus with that if you do not know anything about fishing, they will hookyou up with some advice on the equipment you need, this comes with freedom of your choice sentence error with prices and what you want and cause it's near my location it is my number one fishing store unless I travel, but you get the point so my G:"do you want some baits"?. I recommend this place for beginners and pros or experts I say.
Phoned them today 29 desember to find out what time they closing.. the gentleman there told me they close at 17:30 got there at 16:55 to find the shop closed.. thanx for the heads up.. if you were going to close early you could have told me then i would not have wasted my time coming all the way that side..
