Mr Howell is one of those gems you find and hold onto, a true mechanic and very nice gentleman. Definitely recommended for all of your mechanical needs and executes a great service.
Sorted my VW Polo 1.9 TDI Sportline suspension right the first time with regard to a slight knocking sound which was bothering me prior to having him check it out. Very very knowledgeable senior in the industry. Totally impressed and happy with the service!

I was recommended to get Howells Motor Repairs to assist me to put my roof racks on I had just bought from Midas down the road. I arrived this morning to wait for 20 minutes while no one assisted me. Eventually I started trying to figure it out myself and seemed to have a better idea at what to do then the guy assisting, just not the strength to wedge the clasps on. Having the guy basically just wedge the clasps on which took 5 minutes of his time. I was charged R150 and asked to wait to pay for 15 minutes when I was already late for a meeting. When I asked politely if I could please quickly pay for the 5 minutes of help I eventually managed to get. It was met with an inconvenient sigh. R150 may not be a lot but I feel it was a rip off for the service and attention I received. I won't be going back.

Mr Howels is awesome... looks a bit grampy at first but its just his everyday face lol... and very honest too.
