Decent food selection, no wheat free/gluten free options though. had the beef cheese burger - decent but not that big. great car workshop theme throughout. Milkshakes were very overpriced and nothing special - misled by advertising all around the shop - ordinary milkshake just served in plastic container that looks like what you buy car oil in.
Heard a few ppl raving about this place so decided to give it a try whilst holidaying in durban. Was quite disappointed that the pizza lacked taste and originality. Tasted more tomato and mustard sauce then anything else. It was well filled don't get me wrong but I think I had higher expectations and was quite disappointed. The shop looks a bit shabby and needs some work. The tables are not kept clean so will definitely not be trying hubcaps again.
Perfect for takeaways as the dine option has little to offer. The sandwichs are amazing and the pizzas rock. Their milkshakes are really really good. Great decor and a consistent theme make this a great place to eat from. They do have more venues dotted around Durban and some offer better dine in options. They deliver as well which is convenient. It's also a great place to drop off dad and kids while you do the grocery shopping at Woolworths foods next door or have your car washed across the street. Beware though the trees outside are full of birds who seem to have an affinity for target practice on cars parked curbside. *** hint - parking across the street is usually charged for but on a Sunday its free.
A basic place, the large pizza's are R100, so its not very cheap. But the pizza's taste exceptionally good, it has a lot of cheese. I definitely recommend tasting the pizza's at this place.
Previously was very good pizzas however the standard has dropped and the car theme has been minimised. Used to be on my "must eats in Durban" but I am not sure anymore if it makes the cut
Called in and ordered a pizza at 4:20, was told it will be ready in 20mins. So i get there at 4:50 & drop my wife off to collect as its peak hour traffic-no parking while i drive off & turn around to pick her up with the pizza. She gets back telling me that the "will make it now as they got confused". How does the stuff run a business and get "confused". Anyway i struggle to park and wait. Then around 5:23 its ready OVER AN HOUR FOR 1 PIZZA. Get home to find that the pizza is terrible i.e not baked properly as the obviously rushed it. Very dissapointing experience.
Good value pizza. Well priced, but dont expect italian perfection. Options are quite filling and the wood fired oven is great giving a tasty crust
One of my favourite pizza spots. If you like thin base and wood fired oven pizza. This is definitely a must try place. Highly recommended.
Very poor service. This is the 2nd time there food was not good and there service was terrible. The lady that took our order down didnt give us the correct cool drinks when we received our delivery and the delivery guy complained to us about coming again to deliver the correct drink. Also they messed up our order with the beef and mutton patties which was not even rectified. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Multiple times had to wait over 40 minutes even after I ordered 30 minutes before. They only put your order through once you get there and you have no proof that you ordered earlier. They do not give customers the amount of time we have to wait. Disgusting Service to customers in phone orders.
