Very long wait,  generally a long line. For licences and learners.

Frustrated with how unsafe plugs and sockets are on their generators locally. Non standard, flimsy and made of poor quality plastic. After sales service is also weak, your messages go through someone polite but the people in charge just can’t be bothered. After months of insisting the proposed solution I got is to spend 3K on spares in order to get something that satisfy electrical standards. It’s a poor representation for an otherwise great brand.

I am very happy with the service support received from Mark Odell at Husqvarna SA based in Pietermaritzburg. I recently picked up a problem with the power supply of the docking station of my Husqvarna 430x automower, which was still under warranty.  Because I needed this replaced as a matter of urgency due to going on holiday, Mark immediately authorised a warranty replacement. The power supply was subsequently replaced by an upgraded version via Reef Chainsaw Centre in Pretoria West.  This sort of support combined with a superior product, makes Husqvarna a great brand.
