Worst corporate service I've ever received. My site is a week delayed because of them. My order was incomplete on pickup and then I was being reprimanded to fit into their schedules to arrange a new drop off time for their mistake to complete my order. They promised me they will deliver the rest of it the next morning and again they were delayed and I was told that I am being unreasonable that I won't wait at a site that is empty without a delivery. Other things that went wrong: *They couldn't tell me what my lead time was for order completion - hence the delay *They couldn't tell me exactly where my order was on pickup Credit where credit is due. Eventually got to Wesley who was actually decent at helping me resolve the problem. That man deserves a raise. Don't order concrete from them as they don't have the slightest idea how to run an efficient company unless you deal with Wesley, let alone have an idea as to how long it takes concrete to even set. All I kept getting as a response was: "It's not my job, speak to the next person". Utterly disgusted by their service and level of competency.
Cape Concrete is not your corner hardware setup by a long shot. It's a very large yard/small holding size, industrial production,well established and capable of manufacturing large complex orders. I called ahead and discussed my needs but I wasn't too sure we were on the same page so I decided to go to the yard and see for myself before ordering. I didn't have to wait long + - 10 mins before Derrick came along to assist,he was helpful and friendly as was the receptionist. I didn't end up buying the product at Cape Concrete purely for reasons of unsuitability and price. I would say however the product for sale was of very good quality,the yard well organised,if you're a client with a concrete requirement they are worth considering. Situated in Black Heath off the Stellenbosch Arterial Rd quite a distance from the South Peninsula.
Very professional and well experienced company with innovative ideas and years of servicing this country well.
Its a factory that makes concrete products. Dry, dusty, in an industrial zone. You don't go there for fun.
Horrible service. Their poor planning delayed our building by a week. Despite us widening our entrance and them approving the space allowance, the driver of the transporters that they contracted cracked one of our gate pillars. Not only have they not offered to repair it, they didn't even apologise.
Dont bother asking these guys to come to site to do an on site assessment to do a proper quotation. Directly quoted from an email by one of theit sales reps: Qutoe: "Pease be aware we do not visit site and only after deposit is paid and unfortunately that is out of my hands"
They have quality products but the loading staff is the worst ever. It's like someone forced them to go to work. Spent an hour waiting for someone to load me just 27 E1 kerbs. The guy for forklift didn't want to load which would have taken only two minutes with an excuse that his workload is too much and he is the only driver. Something that just needed 2mins common sense ended up taking very long. Very disappointed and I hope they sort out their staff issues .
If you require top deck flooring this is the place to go with the best assistance I have seen in a long time and product prices that will suite the budget

I requested a quote for sum items,,that guy Trevor,responded after a week or so,just sending prices,,no hello or a name nothing ,,i asked if the price include delivery,,he said,,no we not gonna deliver,, I then ask,if this is how he talks to the customers,,he replied ,,you asked for prices and i gave you prices,must we still spoon feed you...his exact words.. Come on man,,where is customer service or just being friendly,,
