Service was seriously lacking very dissapointing, took a while to actually have someone attend our table. Had to ask for salt and pepper for the table after the meals arrived and the wrong cutlery was provided The food was delicious my steak order was medium it came medium rare but was juicy, tasted a little of the prawn pasta was superb! Ended up ordering takeaway sliders and sushi so compliments to the kitchen
Love the restaurant... food is always good and the service is good and friendly. You can go here for a good time and have a few drinks with friends or a romantic evening out with your significant other. The platters are especially nice
Diep in die berg is very pretty. The umbrellas are lovely and it's well decorated but unfortunately that's where the pleasantry ends. We ordered a pork belly pizza and were truly unsure if it was pork that had been used. Unfortunately it was by far the worst pizza we've ever had. We'll come back to try something else one day because it's never pleasant to leave a bad review
What a gem we found. An absolutely beautiful setting on the top of the "mountain". It felt like we were somewhere else, away from the rush and stress of everyday life. We got to enjoy AMAZING food in such a beautiful, peaceful setting. Their pizza is truly some of the best I have ever eaten. The service is really great and waiters super friendly. Love this place! Definitely recommend them!
What a difficult review to write. The setting and service was amazing. Beautiful place well designed and well maintained. Our waiter was amazing. However, the food.. the menu looks amazing. The descriptions had my mouth water, but all we were served was disappointment when half the toppings listed weren't even on the pizza. I understand stock runs out but would have rather been told so I can change my order rather than receive food with 2 out of the 5 things that attracted me to the meal.

The service was ridiculously bad! It took 1 hour 45min for 2 servings of sushi and a pizza to arrive. Our waiter did not check on us for drinks or to keep us updated. We continuously had to nag them for our food. Definitely not worth it!Food: 2/5
Easily accessible but be ready to drive on steeps. Free wifi available. Parking is always full, but you will be able to find one after all. There is security at the boom gate. Food presentation is 9/10. The food itself is 8/10 only because people won't believe me when I say its 10/10. Waitresses are so friendly. You will leave the place full and satisfied. Bathrooms are clean and well kept. For those that do not drink, expect to pay R30 +for non alcoholic drinks. For those that do drink, expect to pay R50 or so for drafts. Bottle of wine ranges from R290 or so. Glass of wine ranges from R70 +. Cocktails from R85 or so if not mistaken. Their burgers are huge, steaks are well prepared. Their battered hake is to die for, desserts are also huge in portion, so overall it is value for money. Remember to take pics under the umbrellas near the reception. Wheelchair accessibility =Yes For the ladies there is an intimate spa at the far back of the garden where there are pink umbrellas. Parking: Go there on time, parking is always full. The look and feel of the place is really nice, don't know if it was because of the rainy sunday but service was not the best. No indication was given that it was breakfast only before a sertain time. Aparantly breakfast pizza is available for breakfast if you want pizza but its not on the menu. Luckely after asking we could order pizza. It was great. Wood fired and thin base! They have alot of specials that can be seen on their website. All in all it was not bad,maybe on a next visit the service will be better
Wow! We went for the sushi special on a Friday. What a treat! Top class sushi, incredible value for money. Great service. Lovely to sit outside.
