Good burgers and pastries. Freshly made. Good vibe. Excellent service. I’ll be back soon:
Didn’t enjoy my burger. The bun tasted like it was fresh out of the fridge. The patty was fine, but was so drenched in sauce which didn’t add to the flavour and made for a messy eating experience. Really sad for a place that was once known for its designer burgers.
Service was a bit slow as we were one of the only 2 couples in the restaurant. We ordered the French toast with fresh fruit. The egg bread was very eggy with pieces of scrambled like eggs off the side. The fruit was not fresh and tasted as if it was frozen. They were out of Marscapone cheese which is supposed to be served with the French toast. My hot chocolate was also cold. Service level gone down quiet a bit from previous times I've eaten there.
Had the worst experience for breakfast this morning. My son’s T-Bone steak was off and owner was unapologetic. Owner and wife sat outside smoking hookah whilst we waited 40mins for our food. Eggs were under-cooked. Service is pathetic. Server got our order wrong and didn’t know names of menu items. Definitely won’t be going back.
Bought Koeksisters and Hungarian tart - both were so dry and awful. Felt like I was eating cardboard. For such high prices, you'd expect something decent.
Was with friends just looking to grab a little brunch. Industry Bakery count our eye and we went in on a whim. Its rustic unfinished decor was appealing although the layout could do with some work. It had the lovely bakery smell that would make Tim Noakes consider a side of sinful carbohydrate filled croissant. The restaurant has a halal certification which really just means you won't have bacon with your eggs benedict. The coffee was good and I was served in homely green mug. I spotted an interesting item on the menu, a tandoori chicken burger on a brioche bun. The bun was not quite brioche but it was certainly more enriched than a normal bum and the flavour of the burger was delightful. It's a pity it doesn't come with sides by default. We ordered chips and they too were tasty. To finish off we split a cronut croissant doughnut and that too was good, although not screaming with freshness as the smell would have us believe. If in the area I would go back, just for the tandoori burger and decent coffee served in a reminds me of home mug. I did see someone working comfortably on their laptop so this could be a place to camp out and make into a mobile office.
Family owned halal bakery/restaurant that has an interesting yet simple menu and has a cool vibe to it. Well priced. Often hosts events catering for mostly a youngish crowd.
Love the creative space Industry Bakery have created. We attend Calligraphy classes on Tuesday evenings great coffee and wonderful learning space. I have tried the sour dough bread , ciabatta and porguese rolls all were good. They have photography and stain glass classes amongst others. Join us.
Food was terrible. My steak was off and the eggs were raw. The food took around 40 mins and the service was terrible. Don’t let their fancy Instagram pictures fool you.
Food is really really tasty. Okay ambience. Very good service. Love that they are always foing something different here
