Don’t ever let your Body Corporate enter into a contract with this business, which claims to be a “fibre” provider yet the connection is ultimately wireless which defeats the entire purpose and means your speeds will never match what you contract with them. Their connection is unreliable and is regularly down, when it is down, good luck receiving any sort of useful support to get you back up and running. Not in business to provide an actual quality service, rather to lock estates into exclusivity arrangements and collect the revenue from customers who have no alternatives.
One star is far to superior rating for them as a service provider. You are met with sarcasm, screaming and cut off when interacting with their reception ...unprofessional and incompetent. You are told ups,s are expensive to replace ..another service provider taking your money without offering what they promise..they should join the government
I don't think there is a worse service provider than Infraplex. They obviously have someone in their pockets who gets them deals at certain estates. There is more downtime than with any other service provider I've ever seen. The speed of internet you pay for is never ever realised. Their prices are ridiculous compared to others and their customer service are useless. They are rude and the customer is never right. It leaves such a bad taste in the mouth knowing we have to pay them due to exclusivity rights in estates. Please just close your doors. Useless
Bad at service and prices are exorbitantly high. Their rooters are not working and i had to get my own Mesh network so i can move away from their dysfunctional rooter, the issued rooter is poor even when the devices are just next to it. They are not available on call. Their network buffers a lot and keeps shutting off. The worst part is that the technicians on call can’t help and always say on their side there is nothing wrong to a point where i was advised independently to get mesh system at extra cost. So sign at own risk, the star i gave them is simply because there is no zero rating. Bad service provider. You missed the part that you don't answer your phones, so how will i get hold of you if you don't answer? It has been two years of struggle.
I wish there was an option to rate them with 0 stars. This is probably the worst ISP I have ever dealt with. Their fibre is also not true FTTH, as they send their signal to a microwave tower in the complex and from the tower they run fibre to the house. Don't be fooled by them and stay as far away from them as possible. Once they have an exclusivity agreement in place with your Home Owners Association, they have you by the short and curlys and good luck getting out of that. By the look of their responses to reviews, it all looks like "copy & paste" and all the issues they seem to blame on loadshedding.
Terrible ISP - don’t expect them to have your back when it’s loadshedding - they can’t afford a back up generator. It’s a joke. They are not competitively priced and the only way they can score a contract is on a new development in a complex. They try lock you into a 10 year contract where they hold exclusive rights to the poorly integrated infrastructure. Technicians are constantly visiting the site, however there is no regard for clients working remotely on the premises. They install large unsightly satellite dishes in the complex which are an eyesore and still do not help. The CEO Duncan and their team claim that their efficiency is 97% with a young 3% downtime. It is far from that. Stay away my friends… If you’re buying into a new development, and their internet is locked into Infraplex, rather buy somewhere else.
Connection did not match the speed as advertised. Also contacted support and they said it's because of the Apple TV which was switched off most of the time by the way. Also, they did NOTHING to help or assist or even ask to come have a look at the potential issue. Decided to move to another provider and now they want their useless router back and charge me for it to get it picked up. VERY unprofessional and bad service, would NOT recommend.
I don't generally give bad reviews, but this is a must. I pay for a 50 Meg and get 20. Loadshedding hits and in an hour the internet goes down. This isp doesn't look after its customers at all.
No internet during loadshedding. I was promised that I would have internet during loadshedding, as long as I have a UPS at home or solar etc. But that was a LIE, not true! If you are reading this, please stay away from Infraplex, it is THE WORST ISP I have dealt with EVER.
Very poor support service, internet connectivity is actually not bad but when you have an issue it takes forever for them to resolve! Im still waiting for my issue to be resolved, I've now been without internet for 5 days, Im not productive and I cant work from home, my kids cant do assignments. Its extremely unprofessional and Im just wanting to cancel my contract at this point! Extremely UNHAPPY customer.
