What an awesome experience. Location, safety, cleanliness, convenience and the friendliest staff you could wish for. Safe and secure parking. Breakfast was well worth it and staff super helpful. From check on to check out, we highly recommend this establishment. The gorgeous view of the canal, from our balcony, was quite mesmerizing.
What an experience we had when we checked into the Island Club Hotel on the weekend. From the time we saw the proximity of the hotel to Canal Walk we immediately saw the perks of having accommodation in walking distance from the shopping centre with all its food options . We had booked a 3 bedroom penthouse accommodation for one night. When we checked in we were met by the friendly receptionist who welcomed us even with a printed poster with our names on. We were shown where we could park the car in the garage and how to get to our accommodation by lift. Everything was secured. When my husband and I went to our accommodation we did not know what to expect when we unlocked the apartment we were blown away by the large open plan kitchen and lounge area. We walked through the entire penthouse from the one room to the next. What a magnificent space with a balcony on either side. Every room led out to a balcony. The balcony overlooking the lake is a space to sit with a cup of coffee or champagne and welcome the sunrise or sunset. It was magical. The penthouse is equipped with everything, big screen TV in the lounge and one in the main bedroom. The kitchen had a washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine crockery and cutlery. The main bedroom had a large comfortable bed and a large walk in shower. The comfortable settee in the lounge became the go to place when we eventually got home the evening to watch a movie. The sunset was magnificent. The following morning I woke up early to watch the sun rising over the lake. It was quiet and only the birdlife on the water started getting ready for the day. We had a scrumptious breakfast. We were spoilt for choice. The waiter and the chef were friendly and had no problem with our requests for breakfast. What an experience on our doorstep that we have no knowledge of. Thank you The Island Club Hotel and Staff. We will definitely be back again. We have found a gem in Cape Town. Nearby activities: Canal Walk is a stones throw away with shops, restaurants, activities for children, movies. And plenty parking.
Lovely views. The Hotel is located in a perfect spot that's walking distance to Canal walk. ALL Staff where very friendly and welcoming. Easy fast check in and check out. Highly recommend this place. Rooms: Spacious and clean. Balcony views are lovely. Safety: Very safe and secure. Hotel is is a boomed off area that requires finger print access or access card to enter. Walkability: Walking distance to Canal walk and other sites. Food & drinks: Nice small cosy spot for breakfast in the Hotel premises. The staff here are great.
I definitely looooved my stay here. Beautiful view, rooms are clean and nice. Situated in a safe area and entry is quite strict which guarantees your safety. Close to the canal mall so you can easily get whatever you want. The staff are cordial and helpful. I have no regrets. The load shedding wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Highly recommend the hotel.

If you're looking to stay in Century city Island Club is a great place to stay. It's a safe and secure compound with a number of amenities. Outdoor and indoor pool, fitness suite, cafe, laundry services and more. The grounds are well kept and look very pretty. The location is a 2 minute walk from Canal Walk shopping centre.
No power back up. Bad wifi, plain boring apartments with dirty walls and glass. The loudest geyser ever. Wouldn't recommend. We took the two bedroom apartment and it was not great, walls are dirty and so are the glass sliding doors, the furniture was functional, you can tell not much effort was put into making the rooms beautiful your own apartment probably looks better. Wifi went on and off, and they have NO backup power for load shedding. At some point, we thought it's load shedding only to find the prepaid meter ran out! Took an hour and a half for them to buy electricity and load it. The only positive is that it is very close to the mall, have breakfast at mugg and bean at the mall and don't bother adding breakfast at their Cafe.
Enjoyed the stay at the Island Club Hotel. The staff was very friendly. Service was good. And enjoyed the breakfast options.
Lovely venue very peaceful and the common areas well maintained. Some minor maintenance needed in 410 Majorca but otherwise very happy. Walkability: Canal walk
Absolutely amazing staff friendly helpful n go beyond their duties to assist u in every way possible. Very spacious clean beautiful views east access to parking They went beyond to accommodate us n we are truly grateful
