The guys here are good, people need to avoid high traffic times, pay weekend, holidays etc, and book an appointment online. The young team there is passionate, vibrant and helpful. Make a booking and ensure cloud backup is up to date. If you don’t make a booking then you will wait for long!
Unethical, arrogant and rude technical team manager as well as a rude female sales manager that could not even say hello to my wife and I. The Technical manager raised his voice and was sarcastic when I asked why is the value of my trade in phone so low, R1500 for mine and R1700 for my wife, compared to three days prior. He then said I had a dent in the phone, and scratches. I could not see anything wrong with the phones. The dent was a design feature on the phone and the “scratches” were due to his unwillingness to look carefully. Besides our phones still had the plastic on the sides and back where he indicated there were scratches and dents. His attitude was disgusting and arrogant. I am not sure how he was appointed a manager or even be part of the technical team. He was incompetent. The Female Manager from the sales department could not even greet and she made it seem as though my wife and I do not belong there. I cannot understand how the Core Group can employ such incompetence in an iStore. Customer Service is everything. The brand worth is something else. There are a few good sales people and managers, who go out of their way to explain, unfortunately the bad out ways the good in this situation. You rather go to the iStore in Sandton City. I got a great trade in value and the technical manager said our phones were in excellent condition
Is this why we can’t contact the store on any number? Are you hiding from calls from clients? The assistant manager and Bongani promised to call, I have been waiting for nothing, I drive all that way to get this kind of service? Come on do better for once after reading all the reviews I should have avoided this store!!!! Still no contract phone and after giving my personal documents you have not the decency to call, and please owner spare me the message of “contact my support team “blah blah blah Get off your high horse and go speak to your staff !!!
From the bad service to potentially xenophobic remarks, I think your sales team can do a lot with some training on how to manage customer service and experience. I was really not impressed by the level of unprofessionalism and disregard for urgency to attend to customers. I got to your shop at 17:12, was assisted by 2 helpful sales consultants, I had to wait a further 1 hour 19 minutes before I got served, 2 people came after me but got served first because they are ID holders and not foreigners. After waiting for that long I was informed they could not help me, the sales consultant who broke this news to me, knew immediately when I arrived into the shop that I was a foreigner, the least they could have done was inform me upon arrival than for them to wait over 80mins to tell me I could not be assisted. It is a very bad culture and based on your reviews I felt you guys really need to consider investing time in grooming your employees and staff on how to handle such sensitive environments. It is an extremely bad service review but I had to be honest and provide honest feedback.
I got a new iPhone 14 pro max on Wednesday. In store I purchased the screen protector, phone case and camera lens protector. All of these were fitted by an Istore agent. Less than 24hours later the screen lens protector fell off. I stuck it back on and it feel off again. Later that evening my partner noticed the protector was stuck on my clothing meaning it fell off a 3rd time. In 1 day. I work a 9-5 and considering it was month end I wasn’t able to leave work to come to the istore and report a poorly manufactured product. When I got to the store on Saturday when I had free time I was told there is a crack and therefore it won’t be covered under warranty and I came 2 days later. YES there was a crack on it as it fell of THREE times. I was then told I would be emailed on Monday regarding the outcome. I want a refund or a new lens protector!
Worst service ever. Three times in a row. I will never ever again see myself at that place. I wont even recommend it to my worst enemy. The level of incompetence is out of this world. Imagine the distance i drove, having been referred there because they had stock. . . Only to have me waiting, and get told an hour later that we just sold the last one. I swear that store is a case study in waiting. I always go to other stores. But this one leaves me defeated all the time. Luckily i was not the only one unhappy with that place.
Worst istore experience of my life! Save your time, money and energy. The service here is not worth it. How can a person take more than an hour for an upgrade? Tazneem should also work on her customer service skills because wow!!!
Went in yesterday to buy a Apple Watch SE 2nd gen 44mm. The sales consultants make you wait up to 40 minutes for the vault to open and get the stock. An absolutely ridiculous and extremely arrogant way of doing business. No respect for customer's time.
I came to this store today to buy my son AirPods for his birthday. This is the second time I have been to the store and I am disappointed by the lack of service from the salesperson on the floor. When I entered there was total disregard of my presence. The lady that came after us was served. I don’t know if they thought I came to window shop. After standing for a good 5 minutes, I was about to leave when one the consultant came to ask if I have been helped. I would rather buy online and have my things delivered than this kind of poor service
This whole thing is taking way too long. Seriously what is the problem? What is complicated about buying a phone? I do not understand. Been here over an hour still there is an issue and I am not getting the phone today. If processes are too long work on them. Nobody has time to camp here.
