Founded in 1996 by Johann Meyer,JB's Auto Repairs has been one of the front runners in the 4x4 repair industry for many years.Not one to just sit back and delegate,Johann has built the company from the ground up,not only building his reputation,but his knowledge of 4x4s and the motor industry as a whole.He has a team of two mechanics whom he keeps a watchful eye over,maintaining quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Although we specialise on all Toyota 4x4s,we also work on the following vehicles:
Mitsubishi Pajero and Colt,Isuzu KB range and Nissan Patrol.

JB, not only is he regarded as one of the best land cruiser specialist, he is also extremely pleasant person. Very patient, engaging, friendly and humble person. He made the whole process of purchasing my first 80 series land cruiser so much easier. He took us around the block to test the vehicle and took the time to explain how the different gear ranges and diff locks work and gave us advice about how to look after the car.

Well we all know that they are the land cruiser whisperers. Truly brilliant and worth the money. It’s not cheap, but expertise and knowledge of this level shouldn’t be cheap and never will be. The only place I’ll take my beast!

I’m not one to typically leave a review unless I’ve experienced either fantastic service or the complete opposite. I’m pleased to say that my experience at JB Auto was probably the best I’ve ever received in the car industry. Johann Senior took the time to personally inspect my Land Cruiser 76 and addressed each and every question and concern that I had with my new-to-me vehicle. He had all the patience in the world with me and even used the opportunity to educate me on proper maintenance and what I should and shouldn’t be doing to ensure longevity of my vehicle. Having experienced appalling service at another Land Cruiser “specialist” workshop in Brackenfell, I took to the Land Cruiser forums to seek a referral to a reliable Land Cruiser mechanic in Cape Town and was advised that JB Auto is the best of the best. I don’t have enough good things to say about my experience and I thank Johan and his team again for everything that they did to assist me and to put my mind at ease. 10/10 in my books!!Services:&nbsp;Steering &amp; suspension repair

Another excellent experience at JB’s this week. This a family business with an outstanding service ethic. My vehicle needed a major repair which required insight and experience to work out the most cost-efficient way of getting the car back in the road - you just don’t get that at the dealer. Really good value for money and a pleasure to work with.

Landcruiser specialists. They really know their Cruisers and do a great job

I can not praise them highly enough! By far the best Toyota Land Cruiser specialist in the Western Cape. We ran into an issue with a Diesel Cruiser which required specialist knowledge and these guys gave us a helping hand. Thank you once again!

A great experience - this family run business is observant and thorough and deserve the excellent 4x4 Toyota specialist reputation they enjoy. More than just a service - for peace of mind.

JB always gives good service and advice. I know my Toyota will be running smooth and perfectly after a visit to their shop.

JB's Auto Repairs is the best place and dare I say the only place to take your Landcruiser for mechanical repairs and maintenance. Both my 60 and my 76 go there for their TLC. Thanks JB.
