A Holistic Approach
JENS Primary School has a holistic approach to education and therefore encourages learners to participate in all activities offered by the school. Learners’ social and coping skills are fundamental in the School’s Development Policy. This is achieved by encouraging learners to identify their strengths, self worth and individuality. Through the teaching of Christian values, learners acquire the strength and confidence to rise above any adverse circumstances and to cope with the ever changing environment around them.
Drama, acting and movement are offered in the school curriculum. Learners are taught skills such as voice projection, stage presence and elocution. A better understanding and appreciation for all forms of ‘The Arts’, is encouraged throughout the year.
