Recently watched Bhūmi, a wonderful show bringing awareness to the climate crisis through Bharatanatyam, a classical Indian dance. A amazing performance. Let’s support our theatres. They bring so much joy and really is a showcase of our culture and talent.

Went to go check out Dr Seuss Musical and the kids loved it, I would give a 5 star but we couldn't get popcorn which sucked. But the show was 5 star the venue must make sure there always popcorn

What an experience!Theatre was wow the place and seating was really an amazing experience for both me and my companions.A nice relaxing time out,something that should be enjoyed throughout all cultures,a taste of exquisite art.Clean, safe and a diamond in the heart of student life.

Such a special night out to the Theatre, the performances are incredible and the venue is well kept and staff are helpful.

Performance Stunning! Facilities on stage = GREAT! Staff - Attitude awesome. Facilities - Could be upgraded. Parking - Very confusing drive around a few times then you ll figure out where to park, unless you want to park in the open.

I went to see Sho't Left. It was the most exciting musical I have ever seen. The dancing, acting, singing, and band was wonderfully amazing.

Air France hosted their 70 years of flying to JHB, great event and awesome host JHB Theatre

I love that they have a variety of really amazing plays,ballets, and musicals on show. There's also a restaurant available on the premises that serves café like food so uts super affordable and there is parking!

Attended a play at the Mandela Theatre at JHB Theatre. Venue was packed with chairs stacked next to each other, essentially rubbing shoulders with the next person. Chairs looked like ones you'd use for kids or teenagers at best. If you're a bigger size person, don't even try booking these seats. Aircons were off so no air circulation. Not the best experience for theatre.  Some pros - Bathrooms were clean, and service was good for entering and buying snacks.  The play itself was OK - realized I'm not one for Theatre after all as the lack of dialogue just left me confused. Others seemed to enjoy it so it's definitely a personal preference.

Wonderful outing to Jobzrg Theatre to watch the Joburg Ballet production of Romeo and Juliet. Parking available as well as restaurant for lunch before the show.
