This Fish & Chip Take away is as Tina Turner would say Simply The Best. It always gives the best service and never skims on portions. If you want value for money, high quality food, just excellent service, then look no further, than 'Joe's Chippy'
Heard a lot about this fish and chip shop so was looking forward to a large cod and chips. The staff were organised, so fast and friendly. We got back to the tent, less than 5 mins away and unwrapped our dinner. The fish was not, by most standards, Large but not a problem, however the batter was so undercooked that it was pale, soggy, sticking to the paper and still uncooked on the underneath, ie could still see the uncooked batter as the paper peeled it away from the fish The shop was very busy so I think the cook was rushing to get all the orders out and failed to cook it properly, so can't give any more than 3 stars.
Super delicious Chippy tea! Friendly staff. Easy parking. Reasonable price. Popular with locals always a good sign, especially when you’re only visiting as a holidaymaker.
Food tastes really oily, especially the chips. Saveloy was hot one side and cold on the top which is a put offFood: 2/5

Best chippy around, been using joes for years now, great portion sizes and reasonable prices and most importantly cooked in beef dripping so keeping with what’s traditional.
Wow. For a Friday evening 5.30pm it was a absolute pleasure being a customer for this lovely chippy. First time in about 2 years and wow. Still amazing foods. Missed one item in order but was solved with no issues. 100% a real to be given such good foods. Cheaper than some places in area too!. Staff showed sizes of portions which loads of places wouldn't do which was nice.
