Staff are very friendly. But when I called in I was originally quoted R550. I therefore did not double check on Booksy. Ended up paying R700 for nails. I have to say, it's quite a shock. It's expensive and not affordable for everyone especially when you have to pay extra for glitter. First salon I know that charges a client extra for stock they use on clients. Nails were pretty but not what I wanted.
Initially I had a very good experience at Jurix. I love getting my nails done here - gel and acrylic are great and they last well. However I've recently gone for a Hollywood wax and eyebrows waxing/tint. Safe to say I'll never go for these again! The waxing was performed very roughly and was incredibly painful - more than my past experiences. I had to ask to stop because I was in tears and almost passed out from the pain even after having taken 2 strong pain tablets. And I'm incredibly disappointed with the eyebrows. I asked only for a tidy up and tint. Now my eyebrows are so thin and look very different - she took off half of the left one, now I need to pencil on the rest because it looks so bad. I'm praying they'll grow back again as they were before. And the tint was not done correctly either. Safe to say it was not worth the money. I would rather pay a little more and go to a qualified beautician for these in future.Services: Acrylic nails
Nina was amazing and super friendly. And she has a magic hand - wax did not hurt at all : Would love to have the proper sugar wax method Jurix had before as I prefer that type of waxing. Could you possibly reintroduce that again?
