Being a Health Therapist it is extremely important to know any condition that may indicate or contraindicate treatment. It requires compassion and dedication along with heartfelt effort in thought and movement. It is of utmost importance to Amanda to make sure her clients knows just how much she cares about each individual. It is a necessity for the mind, body and soul to take a step back and just relax. Even, if only for a few minutes. It reinsures a state of well-being and resets us from our busy and sometimes nerve wracking lifestyles. Stress affects us all, there’s no one who hasn’t been affected by it. It can cause unimaginable damage to existing disease and disorder as well as create huge imbalances in our natural emotional and mental states. What Amanda gladly offers is an ultimate tranquil and all-round relaxing experience, calming body, mind and soul at affordable rates. Personal pampering shouldn’t cost you an arm and a leg. Amanda believes in good intent and every action has a ripple effect. This is her way of giving back to the world and her approach to help by making it a better place.
As by law, no condition can be diagnosed by a massage/beauty therapist unless the therapist is also a qualified doctor. If you are not sure about a condition you may have that may contraindicate treatment, please don't hesitate to consult with your doctor first.
**Concerning manicures and pedicures, Amanda focuses on the treatment of natural nails and cuticles on hands and feet. A chart will be be filled in before treatment to assess the condition of the each nail. Amanda can also remove Gel overlays for an added R50 to the treatment, be it on the fingernails or toenails.
**Prior to any treatment, a consent form and client consultation card must be completed by new clients. This will determine if there are any contraindications and if treatment can proceed if there are any. A list of these contraindications will be provided soon on the Just 4 Girls page for all clients to understand and read well.
There are three types of contraindications: Total, local and medical.
Total: When a treatment should not be performed at all.
Local: When a massage can be performed but ot over the contraindicated areas.
Medical: When a treatmentcan only be performed once written or telephonical permission has been granted by the clients personal GP.
**Payments can be done in cash or via EFT.
**Every month there will be at least 2 specials for clients to enjoy besides all other lovely treatments.
**Before a treatment starts, Amanda will inform her new clients which steps she will follow within the treatment, as some treatments are done whithout talking to ensure the ultimate relaxing experience is achieved.
