Got an allergic reaction to the chicken schnitzel, which I could taste fish on it and immediately stopped eating it. Lucking I had allergy meds on hand. We simply asked for acknowledgment about the allergy and that it may have been cooked in the same oil as fish. We were spitefully threatened with legal action by the owner if we ever spoke about this. I have attorneys on hand. Anaphylaxis is a deadly disease. My eves were swollen shut and I couldn’t breathe. Please take any concerns about allergic reactions seriously and not act in negligence; it is quite deadly. We are very very aware of our rights.

Had a 3 course meal we bought from Hyperli. Best tasting food ever. Hated the waffle though, would not recommend the waffle. But everything else was awesome. Would recommend the place to anyone. Portions are great as well.

My daughter bought us an online promo voucher to use at this modern clubhouse type venue. If was an options set menu. The setting is quite nice in a developing security complex. Lots of building going on around. Food was okay - portions are small & nothing exciting. All sauces & sides are an extra cost except one side . Nothing to write home about the food which could have been hotter. My steak was sinewy. Being my birthday - I didn't feel like I had a special treat at all. I wouldn't drive an hour from Jhb to go there again though.

We were gifted a 3 course meal voucher for 2 for our anniversary / Birthdays. To be honest we were quite exited to try Carlita's Restaurant out... from the outside the place looks very nice, however we felt a bit like beggers using foodstamps the vouchers non the less, we did order other food for our child as well as drinks, that was paid for separately. Moral of the story here is I will never buy someone A gift voucher to visit this particular restaurant, due to the fact that one feels quite out of place ... the face of the waiter says it all as soon as you mention the word voucher infact, they asked me to email them the voucher... like they did not have a proper system to handle our vouchers The waiters themselves were good, I had a steak that was awful, it was basically a big piece of fat..., and for the starters they don't have many choices for people that dont eat fish or raw meats...we had a dry foccachia... My wife was looking forward to the strawberry waffle desert.... however as soon as it arrived, my wife saw that it was nothing like the waffle they advertised... infact it was a cheaper version a "bubble waffle " with cheap pink sauce not real strawberry sauce like on they're advertising... Personally I would not go there again or suggest this place with a good conscience....

I bought a hyperli voucher for this restaurant to celebrate my partner's birthday. What a waste of my money! Wish I had read reviews first before purchasing the voucher I called to make a booking and when I arrived they couldn't find the booking. Disappointment! Then we were told that they close at 8pm whereas the time shown is 10pm. Our order was completely rushed as my booking was at 7pm! Even had to take dessert as they takeaways because they wanted to close the restaurant! My steak was a little burnt and was well done when I asked for medium well. The only upside was that the our waiter was knowledgeable and could make recommendations. But otherwise, don't waste your money here! Rather go elsewhere where you won't be disappointed.

Service was friendly and the owner came to greet us at the table. Food was great, a pity that many dessert items were not available. Great location and views. We will definitely be returning.

Hot chocolate has just received a 23.3% increase in price. It is most upsetting to see this. I feel the restaurant is taking advantage of its customers just because they are “well off”.Food: 2/5

Amazing restaurant set in the beautiful Hills Estate. The views from the veranda are breathtaking as you enjoy your delicious well prepared and well presented food. The service was exceptional and friendly. The restaurant managed to cater well for our big group and food came in reasonable time. Wide variety of foods to choose from the menu with a selection of dessert, milkshakes, coffees and other drinks. I ordered a coffee milkshake and margherita pizza and certainly enjoyed it very much. We all enjoyed the restaurant and we will definitely visit again. A big thank you to Gerhard, Reatha and Peter.
