Lovely hike, more in the easy side. Easy for younger kids with parents. Beautiful waterfall. Lovely place to have breakfast next to the water. Personally I think something can be added to the burger just to make it more yummy.
Great gem hidden on the outskirts of Johannesburg. You blink and you miss the turn type of place. R50 flat rate for all distances. Very well marked trails and visible. Cannot get lost The yellow trail passes a beautiful waterfall There is a restaurant here overlooking a small dam. Good selection of food. Good coffee, most importantly Dog-friendliness: Not pet friendly
A hike is always a great idea. And even though it was raining this was a great experience shared between friends. Because we were a big group, we decided to take the shortest trail, so it was relatively simple and straight forward. Would advise you to go
Friendly staff and very challenging trail, we did the 22km, the zig zack was a but frustrating but the views where breath taking. They can maybe work on their signs and also have a better lunch option for after the walk. Went now for a second hike, lunch area improvement by alot. Also so awesome and green now after the rain. Will most certainly go again
I really enjoyed hiking at kings kloof and I would definitely do it again . Although I didn’t like their “bridges”, they were shaky and one has to have good balance to jump across them. The waterfall was my highlight and it motivated us to keep on going even after getting lost a few times . There’s no need to stress about food after hiking because they have a food stall/ restaurant. And their food is affordable and tasty

What a beautiful place. Stunning view and helpful staff. A must visit! Yellow route: Easy. From Blue route and other colors, sjoe you need to be fairly fit. But all worth it. And yes I agree with other reviews...I suggest changing the zig zagging at the end, rather shorten the trail by 1 km or so. Also mark some areas of the trails slightly better, add arrows and choose one shade blue arrow, the 2 shades was confusing at some stage. haha. Other than that lovely place and the restaurant afterward, lekker vibe, it will be nice to add light alcoholic beverages..sometimes a nice cold beer/cider after a hot sunny hike does the trick. But if not lisenced, even a greater variety of non-alcoholic options would be fantastic. Oooh and also epic cappucinos would be appreciated on the menu huge coffee addict. Friendly waiters. The trails were very well marked and the blue and yellow trail would have an easy hiking rating, theres no steep uphills or technical areas. The waterfall is quite accessible and the highlight of the hike was getting to swim underneath it, looking forward to trying out the other trails in the reserve.

Great variety of trails - 6km,9km, 12km, 21km to 27km. Naturally air-conditioned shade from trees for respectable distances. If you want to have the feeling of escaping into the silence of nature, do the 21km black. You'll pass areas with no network coverage and gaze into the distant greens. The celebrity mini waterfall is part of most of the trails - can't miss it. Difficulty of trails is easy to medium. Entrance is R50 2022.
