Klerksdorp Dam Resort

The facility itself is great, was very happy to see that there is a lifeguard by the pool to help keep swimmers safe and nuisances at bay, the dam is beautifully full after the rains, it's just a pity that it gets over crowded during certain times of year and ofcourse there will always be all sorts of characters which is out of the management control. We've had a fully grown, drunk man hitting on our young daughters, despite an abundance of very attractive, grown women in the area he could have chosen to aquaint himself with instead we had a man stripping feet away from our small kids near the dam, another lady using the indoor pool area as a changing room, all in one day. These instances are not out of the ordinary, we had similar incidents the last time.e we were there. This is obviously through no fault of the management, it does, however, make it unpleasant to bring the family for a relaxing day at the dam, best to consider the time of year and rather go when it's more quiet if you want a relaxing/family vibe, if you are looking for a party vibe, by all means, go when it's busy.

If you're looking for a place to relax with families or friends or even for camping, look no further. Klerksdorp Dam got you covered Just bring your food, gazebos, tents, picnic baskets to make the trip even more worthwhile...or another thing there are tons of braai areas and kids activities.

Its chilled and I had fun. Peace of mind and body relaxation... Its a place to be... I'd love to visit again.

A nice holiday resort in klerksdorp. It is situated in wilkopies Klerksdorp. The dam can accommodate every individual who love outdoors and fishing. A minimum of R50 per person can gets you in and R20 per car. No charges for cooler box or whatsoever. This holiday resort is so nice that it can even offer you a slide in swimming pool. It's a nice experience one can ever have around the area of klerksdorp. I re really enjoyed my visit here. You don't even need a braai stand, you just bring your meat and charcoal thats all.. I really loved it..

All the holiday makers wanna get...you get it at klerksdorp Dam ... but they need to make something about their water pools it's packed and no sufficient chlorine additives in the water ... no circulation of the same water

Excellent fishing n leisure spot. The place is well maintained and staff are always friendly and helpful Love the vibe.

Over populated with taxis on weekend and loud music had a few weekend with same experience. Wil not go there again
