The sheets were not clean on the first night
It is a very quiet place...which is good. Not far from town and the Rio if you're into..gambles. And ohh...I only discovered in the morning when I had to check out that they have netfilx .
It was a pretty good experience but there was music playing while we were sleeping, which was disturbing but other than that it was a good experience.Rooms: 5/5
I had the worst night ever because of immature guests, our room was beautiful and clean but imagine sharing a room with my 14year old daughter and the two bedrooms next to us the couples were just making noise, so I think in the future couples must be booked far away from mothers with kids just to have peace and not receive negative feedback like this.
It's the bare basics. No bar fridge, getting ice cold water was a mission. The shower didnt have a door, so when you shower the floor got wet. The towels were ancient. Personally I wouldn't go back unless I really had to.
Great staff but their rooms could use air conditioning.
Arrived there late at night around nine pm and when we got there there was no space where we could park and the man we found at the reception was niether welcoming,friendly nor helpful.We took ourselves to the room which was at the back and he just pointed it out showing us how to go around to get to the room.There is no aircon or heater instead what we got got was a fan which would have accomodated us or been useful if our stay was in Summer.There was no remote to the tv and in the morning when we left we showered with cold water as there was no hot water!!! Our stay there was soo not pleasant at all
Gamalatjie Guest House is clean and warm with friendly staff. The quality of beds is of note. It is very peaceful and home feeling.
Improvement! I didn't like this place in the past... But they are renovating now and rooms looks so much better especially the honeymoon suit.
